Expect dub in the pub - with grub - and full force. Let’s see in the new year with pizza, pints, and soundsystem pressure.

This free event is powered by Scotland's first and only fully female owned and operated soundsystem 🙋🏻‍♀️🦊. It's also the country's only FAYA soundsystem; expertly designed and crafted by VAS Audio. Come and feel the force.

This beautiful family style session in Tenerife at the weekend hosted by
alongside +
was the perfect way to round off an epic year of international travel. Plus it's so cool to play in a yurt 🎪🇪🇸

I love to play the huge sessions, I love sold out megadances; but events like this where I can truly feel you and connect to you is something I'll always cherish. Never let the size or scale of your event stop you from getting in touch about making a dance together - if I can make it work then I will come 💫 it's also a necessary time for smaller promoters to keep pushing the works so all communities can experience the power of the dance ✊️ big up + for making such a wicked gathering and being such wonderful hosts 💘

A few days left of chilling in the Spanish sun before back to Scotland - two January sessions to shout about soon - one near and one far 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇫🇷

ARE YOU READY FOR THE VIBRATION 😤🔊?

An honour, joy and pleasure to be heading to Bristol this weekend to play at this legendary dance alongside some of my favourite acts. I've wanted to play this session for a lonnggg time!

After a crazy summer, I've had a restful couple months - meaning I'm VERY ready to unleash my war chest of dubs onto the Trinity Centre. Saturday 29th alongside + the fam through heavy sound ❤️‍🔥

The amazing Fruits Records are currently in downtown Kingston and spotted this sticker from a 2019 gig I did in Germany with Digital Steppaz !

Absolutely wild to know I've made it to JA - one day it will be in person instead of via a sticker 💪

VIXEN STUDIO 🦊🔊🔮

For so long, I've dreamed not only of having my own soundsystem, but somewhere to be able to actually play with it. Somewhere I can run the bass deep enough to feel that life-affirming rumble in my chest, but without irritating the neighbours. Somewhere I have space for my decks, turntable, records, mic, all to have a permanent home - not packed away after each use in order to save space. Somewhere I can jam out and get lost in the rhythms.

After more than a year of planning, cleaning and organising, my dream has come true 😭🚀 I have a beautiful cabin studio on the stunning island I am lucky enough to live on. Feeling incredibly blessed 🏝🧡 Last month I finally picked up the pre-amp, and this week I've finished setting up most of my trinkets and treasures. The fox den feels complete ✨️ (apart from all the additional bits I plan on getting for the sound 😅)

Don't let anything stop you believing in yourself; you don't need £1m equipment, crazy in-depth tech knowledge or a degree in sound engineering to qualify for a dedicated space to lock into the vibes.

Now - who's gonna book Scotland's first and only fully female-powered soundsystem?

Tour time! ✈️🌍

Today I'm off on the road for a couple weeks! First top Toulouse TONIGHT for a session in a secret skanking spot with Critical Hi-Fi 🤫

Next week 12 July at Dub Camp Festival Officiel 🇫🇷

19 July at Dour Festival 🇧🇪

Grateful for the adventures about to begin. Thankful for the music that leads me there. Let's hold a magical space together.

GLASTONBURY 🥳

As usual, my phone died and I have zero photos of one of the biggest events in the world 😅 too busy doing what I'm best at: dancing til dawn, to worry about charging devices 🔌

Seeing Burning Spear and Black Uhuru in the sun - with massive crowds - was exceptionally special. Even more special to see bands, performers and DJs of every size and genre, use their platforms/performances to speak out against the atrocities commited by Israel and subsequent government inaction. The media might make you belive this was the actions of only a few bands, but that is far from the truth. Remember the real enemy. Free Palestine. 🇵🇸

Big all the way up to Glastonbury Silver Hayes
for having me shell it on Sunday afternoon in 33 degree heat. Slide 2 is me deceased after carting all the camping gear 2 miles back to the car in an extreme heatwave with no sleep. Hot like pepper! 💀🌶🔥

Party season is now in full swing - this Saturday 5 July I'm back in France thanks to Critical Hi-Fi for a big session in Tolouse!

Then it's onto Dub Camp Festival Officiel 12th July 🇫🇷 + Dour Festival 19th July 🇧🇪. Looking forward to connecting with you ☺️

This time next week I'll be in the iconic fields gearing up to play on Firmly Rooted Soundsystem at Glastonbury Silver Hayes 🚀 I've only been to Glastonbury once before; to return to play the music that makes me, means more than I can put into words ☄️

Merci Dunkerque! 🥳🇫🇷✨️

Special time in France this weekend with Les 4Ecluses as I played amongst some incredible live reggae bands - a bit of a first for me 🌟 an amazing opportunity to dive deep into my selection and play heavy roots rock reggae cuts I'd never usually reach for in a dance. Cimarons 'The Original Band' were UNBELIEVABLE. +++ there were so many rudeboys about with their shaved heads and Fred Perry garms, I've never witnessed that in France before; getting to unexpectedly shell out some ska is ALWAYS set to put a smile on my face 🥰

Next time I'm playing in amongst live bands like that will be at Boomtown Fair keeping the energy and flow between acts like Charlie P

Vixen ting!

Vixen Sound is a dub, reggae and dancehall selector. Cutting her musical teeth as a radio presenter for the past ten years, but only playing out live since late 2017, Vixen’s quick ascent has seen her tour internationally across 10 countries so far; and share stages with Channel One Soundsystem, Manudigital, OBF Soundsystem & The A1 crew, Aba Shanti I, Vibronics and David Rodigan to name a but a few. You can find Vixen in residency at Mungo’s Hi Fi’s weekly club night Walk n Skank, which she now runs, as well as hosting the internationally-recognised Walk n Skank radio live streams; or representing the mighty Sinai Sound System, the first system to ever appear on Boiler Room, as a selector. You can also catch her running her own club nights in Glasgow: More Fire! at Flat 0/1, and Vixen Dub, an all-female collective of Scottish soundsystem women, at The Blue Arrow.
