Premio a la mejor película LGTBI del Festival de Cine de San Sebastián. The queer Film Award at the San Sebastian Internatiomal Film Festival

Premio que da Gehitu, Asociación LGTBI del País Vasco, a la mejor película de temática que se proyecte en el Festival de Cine de San Sebastián. Dicha asociación sin ánimo de lucro también da el Premio Sebastiane Latino, a la mejor película LGBTI latinoamericana del año.

Ya tenemos cartel para la nueva edición del Premio Sebastiane en el SSIFF!

El cartel simboliza la alegría, el orgullo y la lucha por la igualdad y la diversidad en el Festival de San Sebastián. Recordándonos que la visibilidad y las historias que celebra este premio no solo nacen del drama, la lucha y la reivindicación, sino también de la esperanza y de los finales felices y coloridos.

🌈 Porque en el cine —y en la vida— los finales felices también son nuestros.
La obra lleva la firma de Rubén B. Caballero, ilustrador y diseñador gráfico donostiarra que ha trabajado para marcas como Disney, Warner o Fox, y que hoy pone su creatividad al servicio de la diversidad.

📌 El lunes 25 de agosto se anunciará la ganadora del 13 Sebastiane Latino y conoceremos todas las películas que competirán en esta edición por el Premio Sebastiane.

The poster symbolizes the joy, pride, and fight for equality and diversity at the San Sebastián Festival. Reminding us that the visibility and stories celebrated by this award are not only born of drama, struggle, and advocacy, but also of hope and colorful, happy endings.

En esta foto de , Marcelo Martinessi recoge el premio Sebastiane Latino en el 2018, por su película “Las Herederas”.

Ese mismo año la película también obtuvo cinco nominaciones en la en la cual se llevó cuatro de los galardones, entre ellos Ana Brun se hizo con el Oso de Plata a mejor actriz, por su papel y el jurado otorgó el Premio Especial del Jurado a la película con otro Oso de Plata.

Cara de Ángel is a sensitive teenager who is trying to define his identity and understand what it means to be a man in a context of hostile masculinity. To belong to the neighborhood pack and prove his manhood, he joins a robbery—they will break into the house of a man they want to take revenge on. His s*xual drive leads him to explore his connection with Gabriela, a girl from the neighborhood of whom he believes he is in love with, and Jhonny, the singer of a punk band he admires. His hormonal decisions lead him to betrayal and mark the end of his innocence.
