Going back to a place that already surprised me once…

I found a lot of coins there, an old ring, and now I’m curious to see what’s still waiting beneath the ground.

I’m heading there a little later today, so wish me luck! 🍀

A quiet beach, a few signals… and one tiny target that was much harder to find than expected.

I almost gave up… but the pinpointer 🥕had other plans.

☕️ This coffee cost me €2… but I didn’t spend a single euro.
I found enough coins on the beach during a 2-hour hunt to pay for it. 🪙

So basically… my beach hunt paid for my coffee. 😂

A few minutes on the beach… and there’s my coffee money. ☕️🪙

These aren’t ancient coins or rare treasures. They’re coins people still use every day, and somehow, I keep finding enough to say:

“Well… the beach just paid for my coffee again.” 😂

Soon, I’m going to take this one step further. I’ll stop for a coffee, put the coins I’ve found on the counter, and actually pay for it with my beach finds. ☕️

But honestly, that’s not why I love this hobby.

It’s not about the money.
It’s not even about the objects I find.
It’s about that moment.

The moment you hear the detector go:

BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. BEEP. 🫠🫠🫠

Your heart skips a beat. You stop. You dig. You have no idea what’s waiting underneath.

And then you see it.
That tiny piece of metal in the sand suddenly feels like a treasure.

That feeling is worth everything. 💙

This hobby pays me in coins…
but it pays my soul in happiness amd dopamine 😎

A coin that hasn’t been in circulation for decades… found at the water’s edge. 🪙

This 10 centimos coin dates back to 1959-1997.
But here’s the question…
Why was it in the sea? 🤔

Was it accidentally dropped?
Was it thrown into the water?
Did it somehow travel there over the years?
