Imade a mistake with this drawing and I would like to clarify why and apologize for not doing enough research.
The problem is that I have been using a symbol for this character all this time without knowing that it is problematic. It refers to the Labrys Le***an Pride flag, one of the first or the first le***an pride flag that also intersected with the feminist cause.
However, this flag has been appropriated by radical trans-exclusionary groups.I mean, what's the point of being a feminist if you're going to exclude people? I had no idea about this, honestly, I saw that purple flag with the axe and thought, “Wow, that goes hard af, I'm going to put it on my OC,” and I even called it “W symbol of feminism,” but now that TERFs are using it, it's not so W anymore. TERRIBLE! If I can, I'll edit it. I'm really sorry I didn't do my research, because it wasn't that hard to find out why this flag is no longer accepted in the community. And I'm non-binary, I don't want to be excluded. Why did the worst people have to get the tuffest flag?!
I dont know, the history of le***ans flags is so complicated. Some people may say this is not that deep but I dont want transphobes thinking im on their side. Its a shame that the left is so divided, when this is the moment when we need to be even more united. I just want to spread awaraness about this.
But anyway, I made an alternative version this time using the typical purple fist that everyone uses. Except it's like a boxing glove because, well, this character practices boxing lol. And that's it, sorry, it was a very silly mistake on my part.
