Morning folks 👋 I’m David Murphy, part of the Murphy family, owners of The Auld Triangle, Bar 67 and Wayne's Steakhouse here on the beautiful island of Lanzarote. ☘️
I’m originally from Drimnagh in Dublin, but I moved over to Lanzarote when I was only 12 years old. I’m turning 40 in a couple of weeks, so that tells you how long this island has been home for me! 😂 I’ve had a few stints away over the years, including working as a bartender in the USA, but I always ended up back here with the family and involved in the businesses.
If you’re coming to Lanzarote, make sure to pop in and visit us at one of our locations. Hopefully I’ll get to meet a few of you along the way.

I absolutely love to travel and I love my food, so you’ll probably see me eating my way through all sorts of restaurants and trying food from all over the world 😂 But travelling is definitely one of my biggest loves, so there’ll be plenty of that too.
