Restaurants:
On the strip -
Restaurant Playa Mar - for the absolute best steaks you will have ever tasted! Highly recommend the Filet Mignon and the Chateaubriand, at a fraction of the UK price!
Delhi Delicious - don't be fooled by the request for a medium heat, definitely not a UK medium! Seriously tasty though, and excellent service
Cafe Ola - a little pricier than the strip but great food and a fabulous view.
Costa Teguise -
Taberna Del Mar - the very best paella, and fabulous service
El Golfo -
Restaurant Casa Torano - fabulous sea food and the very best sunset experience; totally amazing

Thank you for this lovely review

We’ve just returned from a 25 day stay at Casa Haven, and we’re already wishing we were still there! Everything was fabulous from pre-arrival with great info and good directions/instructions to find the apartment and gain entry.

The apartment was exactly what we needed, almost home from home, and extremely comfortable, from the sofa to the bed to the balcony. The apartment had everything you could possibly need, especially for a longer stay, a washing machine meant we didn’t need to take loads of luggage, we could wash what we had. The pool area was really ideal and plenty of sun loungers.

The location was ideal, not far from the main strip but also not far from the old town harbour, before we picked up a rental car we spent days, just walking miles. Everything you could possibly want was within easy walking distance, including supermarkets, and parking readily available for our rental car. Some fabulous restaurants close by and I’ve left some recommendations with Helen.

As far as hosts are concerned, Helen & Dave were great. We had an issue with one of the shower heads shortly after arrival and they were on it immediately, albeit they were in the UK; they arranged for a friend in Lanzarote to sort it out for us, quickly.
We tried not to bother them too much but if we had to they were really courteous, we certainly didn’t feel we were driving them nuts 🤭 and they provided loads of useful advice.

If you’re considering a stay here, do it, honestly the apartment and area are ideal. Casa Haven really was heavenly.
