5 Años con nuestros amigos de Industrial Complexx con Ximo Noguera a su cabeza. Nuestro Orco estará con ellos para celebrarlo

Han pasado algo más de cinco años desde que Industrial Complexx se ideó como proyecto y desde que se tomó la iniciativa de que debía expandirse para abarcar varias disciplinas. En septiembre de 2019 se presentó en sociedad, en el festival valenciano Volumens, como discográfica y magazine, coincidiendo con la publicación de la primera referencia del sello y la primera edición de su revista. Tan solo un año después desde su creación, evolucionó hasta su estado actual, mutando de magazine a editorial con el lanzamiento del primer libro, dedicado en esta ocasión a los 40 años en activo de Esplendor Geométrico.

Hasta la fecha, Industrial Complexx ha combinado tres facetas: la de sello discográfico, editorial y webzine. Además, cabe añadir que es también el proyecto personal y musical de Ximo Noguera, quien lo dirige junto con Iván Galíndez y Berta Gomez, además de contar con otras colaboraciones muy estrechas como las de Ian Broch (Soil Records), Fon (Subsist records / Faith Disciplines) o Alex Orco (Fill-Lex Records), quienes siempre han formado parte de esta propuesta.

Para conmemorar sus 5 años en activo, Industrial Complexx prepara un doble evento para el próximo 13 de junio con artistas que han estado involucrados con este proyecto a lo largo de este tiempo.

La primera parte tendrá lugar en Las Naves, centre d'innovació social i urbana, de 18:30h a 21:00h. C/ de Joan Verdeguer 16, Valencia.
Presentación y charla a cargo de Ximo Noguera y Rubén García sobre el libro Lo que se nos pasó (detalles del industrial y experimental en España), en el que se expondrán ejemplos de la colección de Francisco López.

It has been just over five years since Industrial Complexx was conceived as a project and a few months less since the initiative was taken to expand to encompass various disciplines. In September 2019 it was presented in society, at the Valencian festival Volumens, as a record label and magazine, coinciding with the publication of the label's first reference and the first edition of its magazine. Only a year after its creation, evolved to its current state, mutating from magazine to publishing house with the launch of the first book, dedicated on this occasion to the 40 active years of Esplendor Geométrico.

To date, Industrial Complexx has combined three facets: record label, publishing house and webzine. It is also the personal and musical project of Ximo Noguera, who manages it together with Iván Galíndez and Berta Gomez, as well as having other close collaborations with Ian Broch (Soil Records), Fon Subsist (Subsist records / Faith Disciplines) and Orc Alex (Fill-Lex Records), who have always been part of this project.

To commemorate its 5 years in business, Industrial Complexx releases Lustro, an album that features tracks from different artists and also sonically shows its wide musical profile, as it combines a range of genres that define the label's style quite faithfully.

La intención de esta referencia es la de recaudar fondos económicos para ayudar a la ONG Algemesí Solidari (www.algemesisolidari.org). Se trata de una organización que actúa directamente en las poblaciones más afectadas por la DANA que ha padecido recientemente Valencia.

This is an organisation that acts directly in the towns most affected by the recent floods that hit Valencia.

With a rather discreet discography, and after releasing his first tracks with Lex-Or on labels such as Fill-Lex or Syntax Electronix, or a solo track in 2020 on an Industrial Complexx compilation, GO5 returns in a big way with his first solo release. IZAKI is an album created over several years that combines a multitude of broken beats, abrasive atmospheres and disturbing vocals with sounds that are difficult to categorise but with the purpose of creating multiple sensations upon listening.

Con una discografía bastante discreta, y tras lanzar sus primeros temas junto a Lex-Or en sellos como Fill-Lex o Syntax Electronix, o un tema en solitario en 2020 en un recopilatorio de Industrial Complexx, GO5 regresa a lo grande con su primer lanzamiento en solitario. IZAKI es un álbum creado a lo largo de varios años que combina multitud de ritmos rotos, atmósferas abrasivas y voces perturbadoras con sonidos difíciles de catalogar pero con el propósito de crear múltiples sensaciones tras su escucha.

On the occasion of the release of the book “Atom™, the nonconformist
virtuoso”, the Valencian labels Fill-Lex Records and Industrial Complexx join forces to release “Transitions”, a limited edition of only 200 copies that brings together a select compilation of tracks by Lassigue Bendthaus on side A, and the EP The Overcom by Atom™.
Side A opens with Transitory (Anti-Matter Edit), an alternative version released only on the 1991 CD maxi Automotif, in which the German producer shows a premature ability to generate complex rhythmic patterns and futuristic electronic textures. Information, the second cut on this A-side, was originally released on
Biohazard in 1992 and its sound mixes influences from styles such as EBM and electro. Render appears on the album of the same name, released in 1994 and only on CD, and here we can observe the sonic evolution of Lassigue Bendthaus in which he integrates a heavier rhythm.

The B-side of Transitions hosts the two tracks from The Overcom EP, released by Atom™ in digital format in May 2022. Kurosawa
sounds like a transgressive industrial with a fast cadence. On The Overcom, the EP’s closing track, the rhythmic intensity continues, and even intensifies to the point of focusing much of
the track on percussive patterns.

For an artist, the design and release of an album is much more personal than any other format because it is not just about creating a release for a specific purpose, such as a few tracks aimed exclusively at one type of dancefloor or a specific audience. An album should be introspective, heterogeneous and show the different concerns and skills of an artist, or at least that’s how many of us think it should be.

Visiones is Lex-Or’s second studio album. With this work he designs a story developed from different sound scenarios, in which the Valencian producer delves into his own musical perspective, from styles such as Electronica, EBM, Electro, Techno or Synthpop.

Lex-Or mixes influences from Techno, EBM and Dark Ambient in tracks like CCTT and Lava. He continues to use the binary metric in other tracks such as Escapada, Panderola, Pereza, Fuego Amigo and Tiempo Perdido although, indistinctly, each track is enriched with delicate breaks that are kept on a plane comparable to the multiple harmonic combinations. With Despertar, Lex-Or enters a universe much closer to IDM due to the conjugation between unpredictable rhythmic patterns and the different sonic details that accompany it. Visiones, the title of the album, is conditioned by a permanent acid arpeggio, robust pads, a filtered voice and a hypnotic rhythm. Utilidad de Fase, the last cut on the album, is a psychotropic sonic journey reminiscent of some of the great Trip Hop works of the last century.
