Poison That Kills Men — The Truth No One Tells You
Once upon a time, in a quiet little town, lived a young woman whose heart had grown heavy inside her marriage.
Day after day, frustration piled upon frustration, until one morning she could no longer hold it in.
With tears burning in her eyes, she ran to her mother.
“Mother,” she cried, voice shaking, “I’m tired. I’m exhausted. I can’t stand my husband anymore. His behavior, his attitude—everything weighs on me. I… I even feel like killing him. But I’m scared. I don’t want to end up punished by the law. Please… help me.”
Her mother looked at her calmly, as if she had been waiting for this moment.
“My daughter,” she said softly, “I can help you. But what I’m about to ask from you is not easy.”
The young woman leaned forward, desperate.
“Tell me, Mother. Whatever the task is, I’ll do it. I just want peace.”
The mother nodded slowly.
“Listen carefully,” she began.
1. You must make peace with him first. Become close again. Loveable again. If anyone looks from the outside, they must see a happy wife—so no one suspects you.
2. You must take care of yourself. Dress beautifully. Smile often. Let him see the woman he once fell in love with.”
3. You must take good care of him. Be kind. Be warm. Appreciate him, even for the smallest things.”
4. You must be patient—truly patient. Less jealousy, more understanding. Speak softly. Listen more, argue less.”
5. Above all, create peace, not war. Build love, not tension. Only then will no one think you had anything to do with his death.”
She paused.
“Can you do this?”
The daughter wiped her eyes.
“Yes… yes, I can do all of it.”
“Good,” the mother said.
She reached into a small clay jar and handed her a pouch of powder.
“Take this. Add a tiny amount to his food every day. Slowly… quietly… it will do its work.”
30 Days Later…
The young woman returned—this time with a completely different look in her eyes.
Her voice trembled, not with anger, but with guilt.
“Mother… I don’t want my husband to die anymore. These past weeks, he has changed. He’s more gentle, more loving, more attentive than ever. And I—”
Her voice cracked.
“I love him again. What can I do to stop the poison? Please help me!”
Her mother smiled.
“Oh my daughter,” she said gently, “do not worry.”
She reached out and held her daughter’s hands.
“What I gave you was not poison at all. It was only turmeric. It could never kill anyone.”
The daughter stared, stunned.
“You see,” the mother continued, “the real poison wasn’t in the food. It was in your attitude… your anger… your coldness. Those were the things slowly killing your marriage.”
“But when you chose love… when you chose respect, kindness, softness, patience—you stopped the poison. And that is what changed your husband.”
She looked deep into her daughter’s eyes.
“Men are not naturally wicked. Just like women, they respond to how they are treated. A man who receives peace gives peace. A man who receives love becomes loving.”
The Lesson
If you offer your spouse:
Respect
Patience
Appreciation
Warmth
Care
Commitment
…you will almost always see a different version of them.
A better version.
A version that was waiting for the right environment to grow.
May we all choose love instead of poison.
May our relationships become places of healing, safety, and lifelong partnership. 🤲💛
