25/12/2025
I would like to extend my heartfelt Christmas greetings to all Christians living in South and West Africa, as well as to Christians all over the world, who celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of our Savior Jesus Christ on December 25 each year.
Just as on the day of the Lord’s birth, when angels and humankind - heaven and earth - were united in joy and praise (Luke. 2-13), so too today, as Christians who are called by His holy name (Acts. 3-16) and who serve as ambassadors of Christ, let us leave behind the time we have spent in division and hostility. Let us proclaim the song of peace (2-14). And just as the world was delivered from darkness through the Lord’s birth (Matthew. 4፥16), by remembering His holy Nativity, let us strive for good works and fill our world with the true joy of Christ.
May God bless us all.
Merry Christmas!
