The parliament is in its 21st regular session, where pm Abiy is expected to reflect on queries, questions & comments from members of parliament.

The mps are raising questions based on the pm's report on first quarter performance of the current fiscal year.

Mps took the occasion to urge prime minister Abiy to find a lasting solution to the fear of another round of war looming in Tigray state.

Other members underlined that large but landlocked, Ethiopia has long sought ownership of a port on the red sea coast, arguing that this is a historical right & essential to its prosperity and development.

Some other Mps have sought clarification on how the gov't is striving to make the corridor development even more pro-poor.
