Professor Merera Gudina to Hold Community Meeting in the Twin Cities, Minnesota

St. Paul, Minnesota — The Chairman of the Oromo Federalist Congress (OFC), Professor Merera Gudina, will convene a community meeting with members of the Oromo community from across the Midwest.

The event will take place on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 2:00 PM CST at the Oromo Community of Minnesota, 465 N Mackubin St, St. Paul, MN 55103.

Professor Merera will deliver a comprehensive briefing on the current state of Oromia, Ethiopia, and the wider Horn of Africa region. He will also present OFC’s vision for building a united Oromo front to prepare the community for emerging political and economic challenges of historic significance.

The OFC calls upon all Oromos in the region to attend this important gathering and actively engage in the discussion on our shared future.
