ENDC Calls Ethiopian Diasporas Residing in UK to Actively Participate and Propose Agenda Items.

The Ethiopian National Dialogue Commission is pleased to formally announce its initiative to convene a national dialogue, offering an opportunity for Ethiopian diaspora to actively participate and propose agenda items.

Accordingly, the Commission will lead and coordinate an agenda collection initiative and oversee the selection of representatives for the national conference in United Kingdom (UK), London on Saturday October 11/2025.

The commission hereby invites all interested Ethiopian diaspora individual residing in United Kingdom (UK) to participate the upcoming program. Moreover, registration is mandatory and can be completed through the link provided in the caption below.

In this regard, participants are strongly encouraged to submit their agenda items that they consider essential for fostering national consensus and for consideration as critical national priorities.

The Ethiopian National Dialogue Noted that this invitation is exclusively intended to individuals wishing to participate in a personal capacity.

Ethiopia Showcases Rich Culture at Moscow's Philharmonic Hall

Ethiopia’s renowned cultural troupe-Ethiopia Rising, part of KIN Ethiopia, staged its second cultural performance at the prestigious Philharmonic Hall in Moscow, captivating audiences with a colorful blend of tradition, music, and dance.

The event drew a diverse audience, including Russian officials and citizens, diplomats, Ambassadors, Ethiopians, and members of the Ethiopian diaspora living in the Russian Federation.

Guests were warmly welcomed with Ethiopia’s traditional coffee ceremony, allowing them to savor the unique flavor of Ethiopian coffee before the performances began.

Opening the program, Nefisa Almehadi, State Minister of Culture and Sport, extended greetings on the long-standing cultural ties between Ethiopia and Russia, wishing everyone a joyous Ethiopian New Year (2018 in the Ethiopian calendar).

She also congratulated Ethiopians and friends of Ethiopia on the successful completion of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD), a national milestone.

The cultural program featured an array of cultural artistic performances that thrilled the audience and showcased Ethiopia’s cultural richness alongside a nod to Russian heritage.

The evening that was organized by the Ministry of culture and sports, Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ethiopian Embassy in Moscow in coordination with Shakura production left participants with lasting memories and underscored culture’s role in bridging people and nations.
