Having had the privilege of meeting Mesfin Tasew, CEO of Ethiopian Airlines at his office yesterday, I was deeply struck by his exceptional humility. Despite holding one of the most prominent leadership roles on the continent, he engages with a quiet warmth, genuine attentive listening, and an approachable demeanor that immediately puts you at ease. He leads with remarkable grace, reminding everyone in the room that true leadership isn't about status, but about grounded service, respect, and character.
