The Carcar Oromo expressed their suffering and torture and their heartfelt passion in their Mirriiga as follows:-

Yesterday will not be today, For us it is still.” Mirriga was expressing his own heartfelt thoughts.
As it is recalled, the Ituu Oromo in 1883-1886, fought back against the army of Dajjaazmaach of Walda Gabriel Bordodde. “The situation in Bordoddee is the color of the Aanoole....” What they mean here is that although they did not pay the required amount from Bordoddee for the damage done to the Oromo by the Nafxanya in Aanole, They were Mirriiga in this manner to show that they were to pay for the hijab (the borrowed damage) for the one who was torturing the Ituu.
