እግዚአብሔርን መስደብ
በጣም ትልቁ ስድብ ለእግዚአብሔር...
"ክርስቲያን ነኝ" ብለን ራሳችንን ስንጠራ፣ ሕይወታችን ግን ክርስቶስን ሳያሳይ ሲቀር።
"ክርስቲያን" የሚለው ስም መለያ ብቻ አይደለም፤ የሕይወት ጥሪ ነው።
The greatest insult to God.....is to call ourselves Christians while our lives fail to reflect Christ.
"Christian" is not merely a title. It is a calling to live like Christ.
ብዙዎቻችን "ክርስቲያን ነኝ" እንላለን።
ነገር ግን... ይቅርታ መስጠት ይከብደናል, እውነትን ከምቾታችን እናስቀድማለን, በፍቅር ፈንታ በቁጣ እንታወቃለን።
ስሙን መሸከም ቀላል ነው፤ እርሱን መምሰል ግን መስቀል ይጠይቃል።
በልጃችን ክርስትና በሚል ሰበብ ደግሰን ራሳችንን እንክንጥል ድረስ መጨፈር፣ መጠጣት፣ መስከር፣ መዝፈን ትልቁ የክርስትና ስድብ ይመስለኛል።
Many of us call ourselves Christians.
But...
• We struggle to forgive.
• We choose comfort over truth.
• We are known more for anger than for love.
Carrying His name is easy. Becoming like Him requires carrying a cross.
I believe that using our child's christening as a pretext to throw a lavish party—where we dance, drink, get drunk, and sing until we lose all composure—is a profound mockery of Christianity.
"ክርስቲያን" ማለት ምን ማለት ነው?
"ክርስቲያን" ማለት...
• የክርስቶስ ተከታይ
• ሕይወቱን የሚመስል
• ፈቃዱን የሚኖር
• በፍቅርና በቅድስና የሚመላለስ
ስሙን መያዝ አይበቃም፤ ሕይወታችን እርሱን ሊያሳይ ይገባል።
What does it mean to be a Christian?
A Christian is someone who...
• Follows Christ.
• Becomes more like Him.
• Lives according to His will.
• Walks in love and holiness.
It is not enough to carry His name. Our lives should reflect Him.
እግዚአብሔር የጠራን ለስም ሳይሆን ለቅድስና ነው።
"በፊቱ ቅዱሳንና ነውር አልባ እንድንሆን ዓለም ከመፈጠሩ አስቀድሞ በእርሱ መርጦናልና። በፍቅር።"
ኤፌሶን 1:4 (NASV)
"ሊከተለኝ የሚወድድ ራሱን ይካድ፣ መስቀሉንም ተሸክሞ ይከተለኝ... ሰው ዓለምን ሁሉ ቢያተርፍ፣ ነፍሱን ግን ቢያጣ ምን ይጠቅመዋል?"

አሁንም የምሕረት ዘመን ነው...
እግዚአብሔር ዛሬም በትዕግሥት እየጠበቀን ነው።
ንስሐ እንድንገባ፣ ወደ እርሱ እንድንመለስ፣ በክርስቶስም እንድንኖር ይጠራናል።
ነገር ግን የምሕረት ደጅ ሁልጊዜ ክፍት አይቆይም።
"እነሆ፥ አሁን የተወደደ ጊዜ ነው፤ እነሆ፥ አሁን የመዳን ቀን ነው።"
2ኛ ቆሮንቶስ 6:2
God is still merciful...
Today, God is patiently waiting.
He is calling us to repent, to return to Him, and to live in Christ.
But the door of mercy will not remain open forever.
"Behold, now is 'the acceptable time,' behold, now is 'the day of salvation.'"
