I explored an area in Manila, Philippines called Happyland aka “garbage dump”.

These kind and friendly people live in some of the worst conditions I’ve personally witnessed. The community is located next to the local garbage dump and shipping area. The walkways by their homes are filled with open sewers, and flood when rainfall occurs. Throughout all the adversity they face, everyone you meet puts a smile on their face. They are grateful for everything they have. Hopefully one day these beautiful people don’t have to live in this underserved neighbourhood.

I arrived in a Jamaican town, in Shashamane and entered the oldest mansion in the Rastafarian movement, along the way I was required to “bless up” some bredrin to navigate the town. I felt the Jamaican culture as soon as I arrived!
