About Truth Media and Communication
Truth Media and Communication, an affiliate of various International media agencies, social media platforms, and organizations, is a vibrant and growing social media platform committed to delivering reliable and insightful content on a wide range of topics.

Role Overview: Truth Media and Communication (TMC) and its affiliates are looking for talented content developers, news writers, and volunteers from across Ethiopia. We need passionate individuals who can create reliable, insightful content on various topics, contributing to a trusted platform for news and information.
Location: Addis Ababa (3), Dire Dawa (1), Harari region (1), Somali Region (1), Oromia Region (2), Amhara region (2), Tigray region (1), Afar (1), Gambela region (1), Benshengul-Gumuz region (1), South Ethiopia (1), Central Ethiopia region (1), South West Ethiopia (1), Sidama region (1). For maximum of 18 individuals from across Ethiopia
Payment: 10 USD/day (Payment based on content quality, quantity, relevance and reliability).
• $10/day for a minimum of 5 clear, reliable, and insightful pieces of content (posts, news, or articles) per day.
• An additional $1 per piece for up to 3 extra pieces within 24 hours based on relevance of the topic
• Payments are made biweekly
• TMC and its affiliates will not pay for less than 5 pieces of content per day.
Qualifications and Experiences:
• BA or above in relevant fields, including Human Rights, Journalism and Communication, Political Science and International Relations, Peace and Development Studies, Gender, Politics and International Relations, Development Studies, Law, Psychology, International Development, Public Policy, Peace and Conflict Studies, Public Advocacy and Activism, or related social science fields.
• Experience with international media outlets, government media and communication outlets, or international organizations is an advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years work in relevant areas
Language requirements: Fluency in English and Amharic is mandatory; fluency in local languages is an added advantage.
Responsibilities and Access:
• Develop a minimum of 5 high-quality posts, news articles, or insights per day. Additional content beyond the minimum will be compensated at $1 USD per article, up to 3 extra pieces within 24 hours based on relevance of the topic and the content developed
• Selected candidates/volunteers will be given access to three different social media accounts where they can post their products in consultation with respective page admins and moderators.
Priority Consideration:
• Candidates who have experience or currently working with international media outlets, government media outlets, international organizations, government communication affairs, and similar other organization will be prioritized, as this is a part-time job.
