የኤርትራ የማስታወቂያ ሚኒስትር አቶ የማነ ገብረ መስቀል፣ በኢትዮጵያ ያለውን ወቅታዊ የኢኮኖሚ እና የሰብዓዊ ሁኔታ የሚያሳዩ መረጃዎችን በኤክስ ገጻቸው ላይ አጋርተዋል።
ሚኒስትሩ በመግለጫቸው ኢትዮጵያ ባለፉት ሦስት አስርት ዓመታት ከለጋሽ ሀገራት እና ድርጅቶች በድምሩ 84 ቢሊዮን ዶላር የሚጠጋ የገንዘብ ድጋፍ ብታገኝም፣ ሀገሪቱ በከፍተኛ የኢኮኖሚ ቀውስ ውስጥ እንደምትገኝ ጠቁመዋል። አቶ የማነ ለዚህ ማሳያ ይሆናሉ ያሏቸውንና ለ2025 (እ.ኤ.አ) የወጡ የኢትዮጵያን የኢኮኖሚ እና የሰብዓዊ ቀውስ የሚያሳዩ ዝርዝር መረጃዎችን አያይዘው አቅርበዋል።
ሚኒስትሩ ያጋሩት የኢኮኖሚ መረጃዎች እንደሚያመለክቱት፡-
▪️በፌዴራል ደረጃ ከተመዘገቡ የንግድ ተቋማት ውስጥ 80 በመቶ የሚሆኑት በ2025 (እ.ኤ.አ) ከስራ ውጪሆነዋል።
▪️ 470,000 የሚሆኑ የንግድ ተቋማት ከምዝገባ መዝገብ ላይ ጠፍተዋል።
▪️ በግምት 4.7 ሚሊዮን የሚሆኑ የስራ እድሎች ተቀጥፈዋል።
▪️ የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ባንክ (NBE) 2.6 ቢሊዮን ዶላር የሚገመት ኪሳራ አስመዝግቧል።
▪️ ብሔራዊ ባንኩ በውጭ ምንዛሬ ለውጥ ምክንያት 407.1 ቢሊዮን ብር ኪሳራ ሲያጋጥመው፣ አጠቃላይ የስራ ማስኬጃ ኪሳራው ደግሞ 428.56 ቢሊዮን ብር ደርሷል።
▪️ ባንኩ ከወርቅ ሽያጭ እና ከንብረት ዋጋ ቅነሳ (Inventory write-downs) ጋር በተያያዘ 57.2 ቢሊዮን ብር ኪሳራ ሪፖርት አድርጓል።
በሰብዓዊ ሁኔታ ላይ የቀረቡት መረጃዎች፡-
▪️ በግምት 21.4 ሚሊዮን ሰዎች የሰብዓዊ እርዳታ እንደሚያስፈልጋቸው ተገልጿል።
▪️ 4.5 ሚሊዮን የሚሆኑ ዜጎች በሀገር ውስጥ ተፈናቃይ (IDPs) ናቸው።
▪️ 12 ሚሊዮን ህጻናት የሰብዓዊ እርዳታ የሚያስፈልጋቸው ሲሆን፣ 8.32 ሚሊዮን ህጻናት ደግሞ ከትምህርት ገበታ ውጪ ናቸው።
▪️ ወደ 9,178 የሚጠጉ ትምህርት ቤቶች መውደማቸው ወይም ጉዳት እንደደረሰባቸው ተጠቅሷል።
▪️ 68.7 በመቶ የሚሆነው ህዝብ በብዝሃ-ዘርፍ ድህነት ውስጥ እንደሚገኝ ሪፖርቱ አመልክቷል።
አቶ የማነ ገብረ መስቀል በመልዕክታቸው ማጠቃለያ ላይ፣ የኢትዮጵያ መንግስት ቀጣናዊ ግጭቶችን ከመቀስቀስ ይልቅ፣ እነዚህን ውስጣዊ "አሳዛኝ እውነታዎች" ለመፍታት ትኩረት መስጠት እንዳለበት አሳስበዋል።

Ethiopia is working to localize production of its currency, the Ethiopian Birr, to mitigate external risks.

Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed announced this initiative at the Finance Forward Ethiopia 2026 conference.

The Ethiopian Investment Holdings (EIH), established in 2021, will oversee this project and manage national investments.

Ethiopian Airlines Group (EAG) is pushing ahead with its vision for Bishoftu International Airport, a 12.5 billion dollar project designed to redefine Ethiopia’s place on the global aviation map. The Airport site, 40Km southeast of Addis Abeba, has entered the construction phase, marked by site clearing and groundwork conducted by a trio of contractors, including China Communications Construction Company and Allied Infrastructure Group.

🇪🇹 Ethiopia has secured $340 million to develop the Tulu Kapi gold project, a significant step to becoming a major player in Africa's gold industry.

The project's funding comprises $240 million in long-term debt from African lenders and $100 million in equity, enabling its full-scale construction.

Located around 360 kilometres west of Addis Ababa, Tulu Kapi is set to produce 164,000 ounces of gold annually, starting commercial production in 2027, boosting Ethiopia's foreign currency revenue.

Officials see it as a flagship for attracting more foreign investment into Ethiopia’s largely untapped mineral resources.
