Dear Mirt people
It has been very challenging for us to run the CGI platform www.mirtmirt.com , after being online for two years. The web platform was offline for the last nine and half months due to some financial and management issues. We have been struggling to re organize the startup company and launch the web plat form again.
We have considered different options in which web platform can be successful , serving the community and works the best way to achieve its goal and. Finally we have decided to scale up the scope of the web platform. Form our past experience we have observed CGI (computer generated imagery) cannot grow independently and it is batter to work with professionals in the country. In this regards mirtmirt.com will be focusing on Art, entertainment and Technology. By scaling up our scope we expect a larger number of people coming on our community and we can work for the development of Art, Technology and Entertainment together.
Now we are working for the re-launching of the website. It will start serving the community after one month. We will keep you updated about our activity on our new page for mirtmirt.com https://www.facebook.com/pages/mirtmirtcom/589814937753564 and here in mirtanimation’s page. We will start the new activities on the mirtmirt page. We are very glad with all supports that you have been providing us and we are open to work with you. In the meantime we are also working to launch a new website with the domainwww.mirtanimation.com for the CGI community only.

Mirt animation with the help of iceaddis has prepared a monthly event; Creative Addis, designed to show your creative skills. The aim of the event is to promote design and creativity by testing your potential. It is open for anyone to participate. Anyone who wishes to take part in this event should register by email on [email protected]. The applicants should include information about his/her talent and what he/she wants to show on the event. Any questions by the participants will be taken after the show. Each show will be recorded and documented. At the end of the year, the best creative person chosen by the votes of the participants themselves will be awarded. The first event of Creative Addis 2014 will be held this week on Friday February 8 2014 at iceaddis in EiABC Campus.
