Dear FIFA World Cup
I am a passionate football fan from South Sudan, and I would like to express my concern about the match schedules for the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Due to the time difference between North America and East Africa, many matches will be played late at night or in the early hours of the morning for fans like us. While some people may be able to watch from home, many fans in developing countries such as South Sudan do not have access to television services and rely on public viewing centers, which are often unavailable at those hours.
Football is the world's game, and Africa has millions of loyal supporters who live and breathe the sport. It is heartbreaking to think that many of us may miss important World Cup matches because of circumstances beyond our control.
I respectfully ask FIFA to consider the challenges faced by African fans and continue seeking ways to make the World Cup more accessible to supporters across all regions of the world.
Thank you for hearing the voice of a football fan from South Sudan who loves the game and does not want to miss this special tournament.
