Many people struggle to stay active simply because they haven’t found an activity they truly enjoy.

The important thing to remember is that you don’t have to follow what others like; physical activity comes in many forms! 💪

Proteins are essential for a balanced diet .

They build and maintain muscles, repair body tissues, support immune system and are needed for the production of enzymes and hormones.

Adults need a daily protein intake of 50–75 grams, about 10–15% of the calories in a 2000-calorie diet.

You can get your protein intake from animal or plant sources such as chicken, fish, dairy products and eggs, or beans, peas, nuts and lentils.

🌿 Physical activity is one of the best investments we can make for healthy ageing.

Regular movement helps people maintain strength, balance and mobility as they grow older. It can reduce the risk of falls, support independence and improve quality of life well into older age.

The benefits go beyond physical health. Staying active can also improve mood, support cognitive function and help people remain socially connected to their communities.

Importantly, it is never too late to start. Even small increases in physical activity can bring meaningful health benefits at any age.

WHO recommends at least 150 minutes of moderate physical activity each week - just 22 minutes a day. Any type of activity will do: from walking to gardening to everyday chores.

Creating opportunities for people to stay active throughout life is essential for healthier, more resilient societies.
