PLAY TORSO is out now! 🎈🎲🧩 You can find the magazine in various places around Väre: a little game of hide-and-seek!

In our second issue of the year, TORSO explores play as a life-affirming act of rebellion and a necessary aspect not only of a creative practice but of simply being human. Too long has play been regarded as something frivolous!

✨TORSO MAGAZINE OPEN CALL ✨
———> deadline 26.03.25

TORSO began as a political project, and this year our goal is to keep it that way. In a world plagued by f4cists and br0lig4rcs, our voices carry much more weight. This is why the topic for the first issue of this crazy year is DECONSTRUCTION.

- art
- illustration
- photography
- architecture
- poems
- essays
- fiction
- comics
- fashion
- design

…or any other type of creative work.
(Feel free to DM us if you have any questions)

👀 Btw we know that the deadline is soon so if you can’t create something from scratch, feel free to send work you made before that you think fits the topic.

As the spring arrives to the campus so does
the issue 1 of 2024 NO WINTER MAINTENANCE

This issue is about ignoring warning signs and hopping fences, being out of time and out of place, institutions, the inherent strangeness of seeing familiar places in a new light, winter and ultimately, spring.

A warm thanks to everyone who contributed to the issue!

You can find NO WINTER MAINTENANCE around the campus. Check out the stories to find where exactly.
