Good news, everyone!

Today, Variety announced that has acquired a stake in Fragile Ego Films. This is true.

I’m truly excited about this, as I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Tekele for years now. With their support, I now get to produce my own company’s comedy and offbeat arthouse projects on a new level.

Next up, at Finnish Film Affair, I’ll be pitching with Emmi-Liia Sjöholm Fragile Ego Films’ most ambitious project to date: Octopus, a thriller series written by Sjöholm and developed in collaboration with Yle.

In addition to Octopus, I’m also developing feature films with emerging talents such as Magdaleena Jakkila, Sebastian Granskog, and Mikko Peltotupa.

We are beyond overjoyed to announce that our two movies Hius and Crazy Crabs From Outer Space are competing at this year. Our horror short Hius is in the Generation XYZ competition for genre films as the only Finnish film. It’s also our world premiere.

On the other hand, Crazy Crabs From Outer Space keeps going on it’s festival tour, this time in the National Competition.

The year of 2022 is almost done and we have done stuff!
We started the year with the premiere of short film Crazy Crabs from Outer Space which was also our BA film from ELO Film School, directed by
Next, we celebrated the year with the premiere of the second season of our short comedy series Velikullat 2: Reloaded, which we directed, produced, and wrote. You can still check it up here in Instagram on the .stories -profile.
Lastly, we FINALLY had the invitation-only-premiere of our short film HIUS, which we hope you can see later next year in cinemas near you. It was a short film three years in making and the whole reason we even established Fragile Ego Films.
At the same time Sebastian was doing his separate thing in BUFO and Johan-Sebastian in so… We were busy, but it was fu***ng awesome.
We are thankful for all the projects we finished this year and the friends we made on the way!

Yesterday Crazy Crabs From Outer Space was shown in front of an audience and we couldn’t be happier with the reaction. Pictured here director giving a hilarious, heartwarming speech before the screening as producer and writer laugh at all her jokes.
