"My name is Egor. I’m working as a software team lead.
I work at Mesta on a daily basis. One reason is that I don’t have a dedicated working place at home. I work remotely, so I only need a good internet connection and my laptop for working, but I don’t like to work from home. I tried it for many years, but in the end I understand that it’s not my cup of tea. I like to separate my home place from my work place. I was looking for a coworking space available in my neighborhood, and that is how I found Mesta.
I was working from another coworking space for nine months, but then I found out about Mesta and decided to work from here. Mesta is closer to my apartment, and I find it more comfortable, more calm. You have free tea, and also prices are much better here. So it’s more convenient for me.
Here in Mesta it’s calm, so it’s easier to concentrate. Nothing distracts you during your working days. Also you have these nice adjustable tables. In the other coworking space, all of the phone booths were often booked. Here in Mesta I don’t have a problem with that. I have one or two meetings each day and it’s really nice that I can use the phone booths.
Most of my free time I spend with my family, with my wife and baby. We go for walks around Helsinki. That’s pretty much it, I don’t have many exciting activities.
I’m really glad I had the chance to work here in Mesta. I sincerely think it’s a great place and I would recommend it, because it has anything you need. Internet is good, it’s comfortable, a perfect working place for a reasonable price, I would say."
