Dense synthesizer soundscapes, magical shiny highs leads and highs with lots of air, uncanny dark low bombasticism. Fourty minutes of dark yet adventurous beautiful analogue musical pictures from Nortfalke (The Netherlands, also Dunatters, Salacious Gods, Kjeld) and Monarque (Canada, also Sanctuaire, Monarque, Forteresse). Two dungeon synth projects from The Netherlands. Recorded and mixed over a couple of months with immense focus on details. Almost 45 minutes of adventurous and humble dark synth music. Envision passing stars in the sky… Behold rolling fog obscuring forests and mountain tops… Ambient synth melodies and atmospheres, hymnic choirs and slow percussion. This split LP is self-financed by the bands.

A német Pest 1997-ben alakult, abban az időszakban, amikor a black metal egyes képviselői kezdték kinőni magukat. Ennek a zenekarnak azonban semmi ehhez hasonló célja nem volt, őket a műfaj eredeti hangulata, ereje fogta meg. Pályafutásuk nem nélkülözte a nehézségeket, azonban kreativitásukat megfeszítve tavaly őssze Eternal Nightmares címmel egy kitűnő visszatérő albummal jelentkeztek. Mindazonáltal a Pest jövője még kérdéses. Milán Péter kérdéseit a két alapító (Atax, Scum) válaszolta meg.
