Hello you all!

Theres not much to tell but allways something when i post.

Lets call it as a CENTERLOCK and you must know what i mean. The surface of that lock is nowhere near what I imagined it would be like before I even started it. But its there, and in my opinion it stays like that. Ive got plenty of time to ”rewind” this project and update all things.
I also tested to knit the belts just to see what is the angle and those were pretty ok.

The anti-roll bar adjustment lever now has that rod. 3mm steel rod.

On both sides of the cockpit I added those hoses. Just to have some more details for the interior. Inventing even some more.

Overall interior is missing still
⭐️4mm thick cellular rubber matt for covering the backrest before adding the alcantara, crm is ordered and it will arrive on monday
⭐️alcantara, which is also ordered and expecting to arrive late next week
⭐️shoulder holders for seatbelts, which will be attached on the back wall
⭐️action labels for the dashboard

Short shift today also. When walls aint straight, i had to cut some special shape pieces on side of the backrest. Now the edges of the seat are closer to the walls so the seams will be thin and neat.
Now I'll sand the surface a little to make it cleaner and most likely put some good tape under it before applying the suede/alcantara coating.
Havent decided yet, will it be light grey or black coating. Grey one is on its way, will be in the factory propably end of next week.
Before we can finish the seat, I'm going to knit the seat belts into the seat belt lock. The lock also needs finishing touch. After these, theres not much to do because the bodyshell aint clearcoated yet.

That backrest was a big guestion mark. At the start I didnt believe my ”fast idea” at all and honestly didnt expect nothing from it. Big guestion was what tool would i use to make that curved shape.
An angle grinder was out of the question because it would grip too tightly and would only tear the material. I just decided to be patient and do the job, or try the job with knife blade. And it seemed to work, and so it did. Result is decent curve where ive got really decent baseform to carry on.
I will order some light grey suede on the backrest, lets just decide afterwards, is it black or grey.

ForSENNA project

Not even going reveal how long phase that wooden piece has been. But now im ready to put some clear on it. Also seat part is almost sculpted, yesterday added some ”magic mass” on it to tighten that surface. So it coming along also.
My dear neighbor brought one rc car link end, so i could add a rod for the ARB lever.
So bit by bit and step by step…

This became pretty nice when i used that wrinle paint for coating it. Now Jouni who did the stickers for the bodyshell will carve the plastic name labels for every button and k**b.

ForSENNA project

In my version, the dashboard surface is not yet at the final level in this picture and the steering wheel is down when it is set to the right height only when you see where the seat will be placed.

ForSENNA project

This shift included finishing touches and minor surface repairs. Sawing and painting the axle heads of the center nut and drilling the holes for the safety springs. Then finishing the center nuts and painting and attaching the axle heads. And then finally a test installation to see what the end result will look like, of course the spring material is still in the shop. Then after painting a few test pieces, I applied “wrinkle paint” to the dashboard and the right style for applying paint was achieved. From as far away as possible, and preferably by “scraping” it against the law.
Buttons and k**bs closed, plastic plates that fit the holes in the instrument cluster and taping them. I had to come up with a collar for the fire button and paint it red. The previous collar was found in the cap of some of my wifes wrinkle grease😀. That dashboard now looks like a proper dashboard with that matte wrinkle surface, absolutely amazing.
Additional coats of varnish on the rear wing end plates to finish the job and now my body is crying out for mercy and the left side is sagging and won't stay down.

That's it for today... I'm gathering energy for the LIVE cat show tonight... if the pain eases...

Yesterday I started making the seat. I found some old foam pieces, which I glued to the seat part, and then I will modify the seat with them. The tire inscriptions are also painted on the other side. The dashboard needs to be repainted.

Arb lever and left wall is ready. I still have to do some finetuning for the lever system and also add uniball and adjustment rod which goes under and through the dashboard wall. As i got levee system ready i glued the wall.
As i got last stickers for the project, i painted the outer side labels. I had to test the front tire to see how it looks. From the pictures you can see and judge yourself how it looks. My own take is that it looks as beasty as i wanted.

Next steps are to paint inner side labels for the tires and start planning the seat and the seatbelt lock for the interior.
Next week is planned for clear coat of the bodyshell, after that we can start assembling the parts for it…
