عن دعوة جميع الزملاء والزميلات المنتسبين في نقابة المحامين في بيروت إلى أوسع حشدٍ انتخابي يوم الأحد الواقع في 16 تشرين الثاني / نوفمبر 2025، للمشاركة في هذا الاستحقاق النقابي المنتظر، والتصويت للمرشّح الأمثل المحامي الأستاذ إيلي بازرلي، الذي حاز على ثقة ودعم وتأييد المجلس الأعلى للسفراء، والمجتمع الدولي، ومنظمات الاتحاد الأوروبي المعنية بحقوق الإنسان وحماية العدالة.

لقد أثبت الأستاذ بازرلي التزامه الثابت بمبادئ الاستقلالية والنزاهة والدفاع عن حقوق الإنسان، وحرصه العميق على صون هيبة المهنة وكرامة المحامي، وإعلاء كلمة الحق فوق كل اعتبار. وقد جاء إجماع مجلس الأمناء على دعمه تأكيدًا على مسيرته المهنية المشرفة ورؤيته الإصلاحية الشاملة لتفعيل دور النقابة وجعلها شريكًا أساسيًا في صناعة العدالة وحماية المجتمع.

كما يعلن مجلس الأمناء لسفراء السلام في العالم تأييده الكامل لترشيح وانتخاب المحامية الأستاذة سهى بلوط الأسعد لعضوية مجلس نقابة المحامين في بيروت، لما عُرف عنها من وطنية صادقة، ومهنية عالية، والتزام فعلي بقضايا المحامين والدفاع عن حقوقهم، بما يجعل حضورها داخل المجلس قيمة مضافة في مسار الإصلاح النقابي.

إنّنا، في منظمة مجلس الأمناء لسفراء السلام في العالم، نؤمن بأنّ انتخاب الأستاذ إيلي بازرلي نقيبًا يشكّل منعطفًا نقابيًا جديدًا أكثر قوة وتأثيرًا، ويُعيد للمحامي مكانته الحقيقية في المحاكم، وفي الطبابة، وفي حصانته وحقوقه ودوره في المجتمع اللبناني والعربي والدولي. كما نؤمن بأنّ وجود الأستاذة سهى بلوط الأسعد في مجلس النقابة سيُسهم في تعزيز هذا الدور وترسيخ قيم العدالة والمهنية والشفافية.

لذلك، ندعو كلّ محامٍ حرٍّ غيورٍ، وكلّ محامية حرّةٍ وغيورةٍ على مهنتهم ووطنهم، إلى الوقوف صفًا واحدًا خلف هذا الترشيح الوطني الديمقراطي الجامع، لأنّ قوة النقابة تبدأ من وحدة المحامين حول المرشحين الأكفأ والأصلح لخدمة المهنة والعدالة.

فلنكن جميعًا، في هذا اليوم التاريخي، صوت الضمير الحي، ونموذج الالتزام الوطني والنقابي معًا.

and under the directive of the Organization’s High Executive President,

and following consultations with a number of lawyers and judges affiliated with the Organization regarding the most suitable syndical choices for the future of the profession in Lebanon,

The Legal Department of the Ambassadors Council, headed by Attorney Maen Kanj Hosher,

The Executive Presidency Advisory Office for Legal and Judicial Affairs, headed by Attorney Elie Zomot Ayoub,

The Directorate of Communication and Coordination, managed by Attorney Firas Dalla,

An official call upon all members of the Beirut Bar Association to participate in the broadest possible electoral turnout on Sunday, 16 November 2025, and to vote for the most qualified candidate, Attorney Elie Bazerli, who has earned the full confidence, support, and endorsement of the Supreme Council of Ambassadors, the international community, and the European Union organizations concerned with human rights and the protection of justice.

Attorney Bazerli has consistently demonstrated his unwavering commitment to independence, integrity, the defense of human rights, and the preservation of the dignity and prestige of the legal profession. The unanimous support he received from the Council confirms his honorable professional record and his comprehensive reformist vision to strengthen the role of the Bar and establish it as a principal partner in justice and community protection.

The World Ambassadors Council for Peace also announces its full endorsement of the candidacy of Attorney Souha Blout Al-Assad for membership in the Beirut Bar Council. She is well-known for her genuine patriotism, high professionalism, and active dedication to defending lawyers’ rights—qualities that render her presence within the Council a true added value to the path of syndical reform.

We, at the World Ambassadors Council for Peace, firmly believe that electing Attorney Elie Bazerli as President will mark a new and influential turning point for the Bar, restoring the lawyer’s rightful standing in the courts, in health and social protection, in legal immunity, and in the broader Lebanese, Arab, and international communities. We likewise believe that the presence of Attorney Souha Blout Al-Assad within the Bar Council will reinforce this path and further entrench the values of justice, professionalism, and transparency.

… Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Al-Majzoub launches the largest Arab real estate investment plan worth half a billion dollars!

: A massive $500 million Arab investment marks the beginning of a new economic era in the UAE and the Arab region!

In an atmosphere filled with cooperation and forward-looking optimism toward promising strategic partnerships, a broad economic and investment meeting was held between a delegation from United Investment Company and DAMAC Properties Dubai, with the participation of the company’s Chief Financial Advisor and Senior Consultant for Strategic Studies, along with the Sales Director of DAMAC and representatives of real estate brokerage firms. The meeting took place at the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut.

The meeting focused on exploring prospects for cooperation in real estate development projects in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, during which a range of future investment initiatives were presented — initiatives expected to contribute to enhancing joint real estate and economic growth between the two parties.

At the conclusion of the discussions, Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Al-Majzoub, Chairman of the Board of United Investment Company, made a statement emphasizing that the meeting crowns a series of meticulous studies and in-depth analytical monitoring of the real estate market movement in the United Arab Emirates. He stated:

> “Based on our deep confidence in the wise leadership of the United Arab Emirates, we have decided to direct our investment compass toward Dubai, through a strategic investment plan with a budget exceeding USD 500 million. The plan includes the purchase and sale of entire floors and diverse residential units (studios, 1BR and 2BR apartments, townhouses, villas, and towers), in addition to investments in marine wealth projects, and the establishment of new joint development partnerships, God willing.”

Dr. Al-Majzoub also highlighted the warm welcome and great interest shown by DAMAC and the participating real estate marketing companies, praising their high professionalism and constructive spirit of cooperation that characterized the meeting from beginning to end.

Ambassador Dr. Al-Majzoub concluded his statement by affirming that this meeting represents a strategic launching point toward a new phase of regional real estate cooperation, expressing his gratitude and appreciation to all those who contributed to the success of this productive encounter, and looking forward to fruitful future partnerships with leading real estate development companies across the Middle East.

وفي ختام المباحثات ، أدلى رئيس مجلس إدارة الشركة المتحدة، السفير الدكتور إبراهيم المجذوب، بتصريحٍ أكّد فيه أن هذا اللقاء يأتي تتويجاً لسلسلة من الدراسات الدقيقة ومتابعة تحليلية معمّقة لحركة السوق العقاري في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة، قائلاً: "انطلاقاً من ثقتنا الراسخة بالقيادة الحكيمة في دولة الإمارات الشقيقة، قررنا توجيه بوصلتنا الاستثمارية نحو إمارة دبي، عبر خطة استثمارية استراتيجية بميزانية تتجاوز 500 مليون دولار أميركي، تشمل شراء وبيع طوابق كاملة ووحدات سكنية متنوعة (استديوهات – شقق 1BR – شقق 2BR – تاون هاوس – وفلل وأبراج)، ومشاريع تتعلق بالإستثمار بالثروة السمكية بالإضافة إلى الدخول في شراكات تطويرية جديدة وفق نظام المشاركة، بإذن الله تعالى".

في الاتحاد الدولي للسياحة الصحية حصل تعيين مهم. بموجب قرار رئيس الاتحاد العام، مراد أوغبور، تم تعيين أحمد جيهاد أوزترك رئيساً لتمثيل دولة قطر ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط.

الرئيس مراد أوجبور صرّح بأن أحمد جيهاد أوزترك سيكون المسؤول الوحيد الذي سيمثل بلدنا (Türkiye) والاتحاد على المستوى الدولي. وأوضح أن هذا التعيين سيُعزّز من قوة تركيا في مجال السياحة الصحية في المنطقة.

في أولى مهامه، سيقوم أحمد جيهاد أوزترك بإجراء المفاوضات الرسمية باسم الاتحاد، وتوقيع اتفاقيات شراكة، والمساهمة في تطوير السياحة الصحية في دول الشرق الأوسط وعلى رأسها قطر.

وأعلن الاتحاد في بيان: «اعتباراً من اليوم تم تعيين أحمد جيهاد أوزترك رئيساً لتمثيل قطر والشرق الأوسط. نتمنى له النجاح، ونتمنى أن يكون هذا الدور المنوط به خيراً لبلدنا وللاتحاد».

In the International Health Tourism Federation, an important appointment has been made. By decision of the Federation’s President, Mr. Murat Oğbur, Ahmet Cihad Öztürk has been appointed as the President representing the State of Qatar and the Middle East region.

President Murat Oğbur stated that Ahmet Cihad Öztürk will be the sole official representing Türkiye and the Federation at the international level. He explained that this appointment will further strengthen Türkiye’s position in the field of health tourism across the region.

As part of his initial duties, Ahmet Cihad Öztürk will conduct official negotiations on behalf of the Federation, sign partnership agreements, and contribute to the development of health tourism in Middle Eastern countries, particularly in Qatar.

The Federation announced in a statement:

> “As of today, Ahmet Cihad Öztürk has been appointed as the President representing Qatar and the Middle East. We wish him every success and hope that this entrusted role will bring prosperity to our country and to the Federation.”

أعلن وزير الداخلية أحمد الحجار أنّ الأجهزة الأمنية تمكّنت في بلدة بخعون – شمال لبنان، من ضبط نحو 8 ملايين حبة كبتاغون معدّة للتهريب إلى دول الخليج، تقدَّر قيمتها بأكثر من 90 مليون دولار. وأوضح أنّ التحقيقات أفضت إلى توقيف ثلاثة أشخاص متورطين في العملية.

بمناسبة حلول عيد الفطر المبارك

🔹 وجّه الرئيس التنفيذي الأعلى لمنظمة مجلس أمناء السفراء بالإتحاد الاوروبي السفير الدكتور إبراهيم المجذوب برقية تهنئة إلى خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبد العزيز آل سعود، والى ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، بمناسبة حلول عيد الفطر المبارك، سائلاً الله أن يعيده على المملكة وشعبها والأمة الإسلامية بالخير واليُمن والبركات.

وأعرب المجذوب في برقيته عن خالص تقديره للجهود التي تبذلها المملكة العربية السعودية بقيادتها الحكيمة في خدمة القضايا العربية والإسلامية، وتعزيز الاستقرار والتنمية على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي. وأشاد بالدور المحوري الذي تضطلع به المملكة في دعم الحوار وتعزيز التعاون بين الدول، بما يرسّخ دعائم الأمن والسلام ويفتح آفاقًا واسعة للتنمية والازدهار المشترك.

President Ibrahim Al-Majzoub Congratulates the Saudi King and Crown Prince on Eid Al-Fitr

Beirut, Monday, March 31, 2025

The Chief Executive Officer of the Board of Trustees of Ambassadors at the European Union, Ambassador Dr. Ibrahim Al-Majzoub, sent a congratulatory telegram to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman, on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr. He prayed to Allah to bless the Kingdom, its people, and the Islamic nation with goodness, prosperity, and blessings.

In his telegram, Al-Majzoub expressed his sincere appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under its wise leadership in serving Arab and Islamic causes and enhancing stability and development at the regional and international levels. He praised the Kingdom’s pivotal role in supporting dialogue and fostering cooperation among nations, which strengthens the foundations of security and peace while opening broad horizons for mutual development and prosperity.

President Al-Majzoub affirmed the depth of the historical and fraternal ties that unite Lebanon with Saudi Arabia, Syria, Egypt, and all Arab and European countries. He emphasized the importance of joint efforts to achieve Arab and European integration across all political, economic, and investment fields. بمناسبة عيد الفطر المبارك، يتقدّم الرئيس التنفيذي الأعلى لمجلس أمناء السفراء، السفير الدكتور إبراهيم المجذوب، بأسمى آيات التهاني والتبريكات إلى الأمتين العربية والإسلامية، سائلاً المولى عزّ وجل أن يعيده علينا وعليكم بالخير واليُمن والبركات، وأن يمنّ على الجميع بالصحة والعافية.
