❤️
Once there lived a girl called Abby Rocket. She was a very good girl and everything she did, she did it with all her heart. She also had a passion for writing. But she was very soft hearted so people found it easy and amusing to constantly mock her and make fun of her which would hurt her feelings but she was so weak she couldn't do anything but lie in bed and cry for a long time.
But when she would write she was so happy and calm and relaxed that she couldn't remember anything the sadness in her life at all.
One day she was walking to school through the forest as usual when suddenly she tripped over a rock and fell on the ground. She dropped all the books on the ground leaving them covered with dirt and scattered on a pile of dry leaves. She tried to get up but she had hurt her knee. ''Help, anyone! Help please,'' she screamed. When suddenly a prince who was crossing the same forest riding on his horse heard Abby. He rushed to help in the direction of Abby's voice. When he reached Abby, he stopped his horse and climbed down, ''I am Prince David, let me help you.''
Abby smiled and said, '' Thank you very much, your highness.'' Prince David picked up the books and brushed the dirt off and put them on one side. Then he pulled out a beautiful blue handkerchief from his pocket and tied it around the wound on Abby's knee.
Then the prince took the books and handed them to Abby. He said, ''You are still too hurt to walk, tell me where you need to go and I will take you there on my horse.''
Abby smiled while Prince David helped her get on the horse. Then Prince David took to school. ''You will not be completely healed after school so I will wait for you and after school is over, take you to the palace to make sure a doctor can treat you.''
Seeing how kind the prince was to her, she could not refuse. After school David took her to the palace to get treated. After the treatment was over she felt much better and could now walk. And from then on David and Abby would talk and they both fell in love. When time came, Abby and David got married and she became a Princess. But soon after Abby was facing some problems that she could not tell the Prince.
She suddenly fell into complete depression because being a princess means she had to follow a lot of rules which meant she could not do the things she loved the most. So she was told that she could not write anymore which broke her soft heart into a million pieces. But soon David found out about this and talked with Abby telling her she could do anything that made her happy.
Hearing that from him comforted her and healed her broken heart. She soon was writing stories for kids in the kingdom which was soon being sold in the finest book shops in the country. Hearing that made Abby and David very happy.
She continued on writing stories and following her dream. The princess and prince lived in harmony for the rest of their lives.
The writer is from Scholastica.

''A beautiful Giant''

It was a large lovely garden with soft green grass. Here and there over the grass stood beautiful flowers. Also there were fruit trees around the garden.
One day the Giant came back. He went to see his friends in a distant land and stayed with them for seven years. When he arrived, he saw children playing in his garden.
''What are you doing here ?'' Cried the Giant in a very gruff voice. The children ran away.
Every afternoon the children cack from school and used to go and play in the Giant's garden.
''My own garden is my own garden. Anyone can not be understood that. And I will allow nobody else to play in it'' said the Giant.
So he built a high wall all round the garden and put up a notice.
The children had now nowhere to play. There were no gardens around and the roads were busy and crowded. After the school, they used to go round the high wall and talk about the beautiful garden inside.
How happay we were there! they said to each other.
Then came the spring. And all over the country, there were flowers and there were birds. only in the garden of the Giant it was still winter . Here no birds were singing and no flowers blossoming. There were only snow and frost and north wind in it.
''I cant understand why the spring is so late in coming'' said the Giant. He was sitting at the window of his big castle and looking out at his cold, dry, lifeless garden. ''I hope there will be a change in the weather''
But neither spring nor summer came to his garden.
One morning the Giant was laid awake in bed when he heard some lovely music. It was so sweet to his ears that he thought it must be the kings musicians passing by.
But in fact it was only a little bird singing out side his window.
Then the northe wind stopped and a delicious perfume came to him through the open window. I believe the spring has come at last. Said the Giant.
He jumped out of bed and looked out.
What did he see ?
He saw the most wonderful sight. Through a little hole in the wall, the children crept in and they were sitting in the branches of the trees. In every tree there was a little child. And the tree were so delighted to have the children back again that they covered themselves with blossoms. They were waving their arms gently above the chldrens heads. The birds were flying about and twittering delightfully. The flowers were looking up through the green grass and laughing.
But only in one corner of the garden, it was still winter. There under a tree, a little boy was standing alone crying. He was so small that he could not reach up to the branches of the tree. The poor tree was still covered with snow, and the north wind was blowing above it.
The Giant felt sorry as he looked out.
''How selfish I have been! '' He said to himself.
''How I know why the spring would not come here''
So he quickly went out into the garden. But when the children saw him they were so frightened that they all ran away, and the garden became winter again. Only the little boy didn't run, for his eyes were so full of tears that he didn't see the giant comiing. The giant came behind him, took him gently in his hands and put him up into the tree. And the tree at once broke into blossom, and the birds came and sang on it. The little boy stretched out his two arms, flung them round the Giants neck and kissed him.
The other children saw this. The saw that the Giant was not wicked any longer. So they came running back. And with them came the spring.
''It's your garden now little children'' said the giant. Then he took a huge axe and knocked the wall down. And the people passing by found the Giand playing with the children in the most beautiful garden in the country.

She dived into the river and came back with a golden axe. She asked the wood cutter if it was his axe. The wood cutter replied in the negative. She then again went into the water and returned with a silver one. This time also the wood cutter refused to take it. Besides, the fear of not getting back his axe began to take a firm position in his mind. He was a little bit disheartened since the fairy also failed to find out his axe. However, the fairy noticed the pensive mood of the wood cutter and dived into the river with a smile in her face. Finally, she brought the axe of the wood cutter from the water. The wood cutter was delighted to get back his iron axe. The fairy became very pleased with the honesty and simplicity of the wood cutter and gave him the two valuable axes as reward.
