Here's the latest on TC Rae (as it leaves Fiji waters) and the possible formation of a new TC near Vanuatu heading Eastwards towards us at 4knts. We will give a detailed updated information once the systems forms into a Tropical Cyclone. Updated by Sashido (Director GAIF-CDC) Lautoka.

This is TC Mal's current position at 6.30am, 15th Nov. It's now going past Viti Levu. Once again we have been spared from major destruction. We thank our followers for sharing our postings to inform others. We humbly thank you all.

A quick update on TC Mal's movement in the last 12hrs (8am this morning till 8pm tonight). While it is scattering and cloud spread is shrinking in size, it will head on, on the projected path with medium to high confidence. It should pass us early morning or as shown in this ECWMF model. Just be prepared for some strong winds later in the night.

This is how TC Mal has developed and moved in the last 31hrs (8pm 13th Nov till 10am 14th Nov). You can see where it is heading and what we need to do. Its about 300 km from Nadi, moving at about 25km/hr and in the current speed it will be over Fiji around this evening and onwards. Sashido: Director GAIF-CDC.
