Contract Signing – Veikoba Subdivision Project

officially signed a contract with China Railway First Group (CRFG) for the development of the Veikoba Subdivision on October 8, 2025.

The agreement was signed between CEO, Mr. Isikeli Navuda, and Mr. Junshun Cao, Finance Director of CRFG South Pacific Branch. The project will span 30 months, marking another milestone in our commitment to providing more affordable housing opportunities for Fijians.

Minister for Housing & Local Government, Hon. Maciu Nalumisa, visited the subdivision in Davuilevu on Oct 9, 2025 where construction is underway for 50 model homes, which include 2-bedroom units currently being built.

This project marks another step forward in providing affordable housing solutions for families in Fiji. 🏠💙

To clarify, the Expression of Interest (EOI 23/25) for the sale of Design & Build Homes by the Housing Authority is not a grant.

🎯 Government housing grants are provided by the Government of the day to first homeowners and not by the Housing Authority.

will assist and facilitate your application for a Government housing grant only if you are a first-home owner and you apply and are eligible for a home loan with us.

The portal - https://portal.housing.com.fj/ closes at midnight tonight.

✅✅ Before you apply online, please make sure you have scanned copies of these documents ready to upload:
1️⃣ HA Standard Statutory Declaration form (signed by a JP)
2️⃣ Latest Birth Certificate extract
• Single Certificate (if single)
• Marriage Certificate (if married)
👉 All must be latest extracts
3️⃣ Salary slip (stamped by employer)
4️⃣ Latest FNPF Statement
5️⃣ Business owners – FRCS Notice of Assessment for 2024
6️⃣ TIN letter or Joint Card
7️⃣ Voter ID or Passport (bio-data page)
8️⃣ Valid email address

📍 If visiting our branches in Valelevu, Lautoka or Labasa, please bring these documents.

ℹ️ Additional notes:

If your spouse is not working: he/she must also complete the HA Statutory Declaration form + submit Voter ID/Passport + TIN/Joint Card.

If in a de facto relationship: both partners must complete HA Statutory Declaration forms + a separate declaration confirming how long you’ve been together.

If single, you must obtain a Single Certificate from the Ministry of Justice – BDM Office.
