We wish to extend our profound gratitude to Madam Lisi Masivou, a distinguished educator from Nakelo District School and a devoted member of Dravo Seventh-day Adventist Church, together with Mr. Josevata Saro, a faithful and skilled carpenter, likewise a committed member of the same church. Their gracious willingness to devote their precious time and energy in volunteering to record new content for Hope FM 107 exemplifies the true spirit of Christian service and selfless dedication. Such noble acts of stewardship not only strengthen the ministry’s mission but also inspire others to use their talents for God’s glory.

We wholeheartedly encourage our young people—if you have a moment to spare—to step forward and lend your voice or skill in creating uplifting messages for Hope FM. Your contribution, no matter how small, can be a beacon of light to someone in need of hope. Should you feel impressed to volunteer, kindly reach out to us via Hope FM Messenger, or send an email to [email protected], or contact Joeli Turaga directly on Messenger. Together, let us continue to build a ministry that speaks faith, hope, and love into the hearts of our listeners.

God forgave the Israelites for the sin of Achan and sent them back to Ai for another battle. This time God gave them an elaborate battle plan. The Israelites were to pretend to run away from the army of Ai. With the enemy army busy, another group of Israelite soldiers would invade the unguarded city, set fire to it, and start looting it. Then when the soldiers of Ai saw that the city was on fire, the Israelite soldiers who had been pretending to run away would turn on the enemy. The enemy would then be trapped between the attacking Israelites and their burning city.

After the city was destroyed and the enemy was vanquished, the Israelites would dedicate themselves to God and His law. The Israelites had tried to attack Ai before, but there was something between them and God, so the endeavor did not prosper. Once God was first in their plans, He was able to use them in the way He wanted to.

It is important for us also to put God first and allow Him to enact His plan for us in our lives. God wants to use our gifts to help people, but He can only help us to the fullest when we give our lives to Him.

Yesterday marked a momentous occasion at Nausori Primary School, where thousands of women — the Marama Tokasa — gathered in unity and purpose for a noble cause. They came from every corner of Fiji — from the rugged highlands of Viti Levu to the distant islands of Lomaiviti, Vanua Levu, and Lau — each bringing with them a spirit of generosity and unwavering faith. The event, a grand Soli in support of the Tebara Adventist School Building Project, was officially opened by the Former Deputy Prime Minister, Hon. Manoa Kamikamica, whose words of encouragement set the tone for a day of heartfelt giving and joyful fellowship.

The Soli concluded with inspiring remarks from Mrs. Mere Samisoni, CEO of Hot Bread Kitchen Fiji, who commended the women for their remarkable unity and sacrifice. Through their collective effort, a total of $37,000-plus was raised — a testament to the strength and dedication of the Marama Tokasa. This generous contribution will play a pivotal role in advancing the construction of the new school building in the Tebara District, ensuring that the light of education continues to shine brighter for future generations.

As we draw near the festive season, the Consumer Council of Fiji is doing a great job as usual with their market surveillance operations across Fiji to safeguard our consumers from unethical and unsafe practices.
They have done at least 353 spot checks around the country targeting Supermarkets, open markets and retail outlets.
Issues uncovered include:
* sale of expired products
* fungal growth in pre-packed garlic
* damaged or resealed food items
* tampering with expiry dates.
In addition these findings highlights the need for vigilance for both traders and consumers..
For any unfair or unsafe trading practices you can call the Consumer Helpline #155 or drop a message on their fb page.

📅 Mark your calendars for Creation Sabbath 2025 – Friday, 25th October! 🌞 This special day is dedicated to celebrating God as the Creator of everything around us 🌎. It’s a time to pause, reflect, and marvel at His incredible handiwork in nature, in our families, and in our own lives. The Bible reminds us, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth” (Genesis 1:1) ✨. Ellen G. White beautifully said, “The works of creation call for our admiration and gratitude, and they are a perpetual testimony of the wisdom and goodness of God.” 🙏

Creation Sabbath is more than just a day—it’s a chance for renewal, both physically and spiritually 💚. Spending time in God’s creation refreshes the body, calms the mind, and strengthens our faith 🌺. Spiritually, it draws us closer to God and reminds us to live in harmony with His principles. Ellen G. White tells us, “A proper knowledge of God’s creation leads to love, reverence, and obedience to the Creator.” ✝️ Don’t miss this life-transforming Sabbath! 🕊️ Mark the date—25th October—and join us to honor the Creator together! 🌿✨
