On A1, Owens delivers an uplifting sermon on the irresistible « Don’t Let No One Or Nothing Stop You », a timeless piece of motivational house drenched in analog warmth. A2’s “Deep Connection To Detroit” is exactly that: a hypnotic, percussive journey into Motor City groove science. Byron The Aquarius follows with ‘Aquarius Voyage’, a spiritual jazz-funk odyssey that fuses Alabama roots with Detroit depth. We are devastated to hear about the passing of JD Twitch (Keith McIvor). 💔
One half of the legendary duo Optimo, Keith was not only a visionary DJ & producer, but also one of the very first to believe in us.

Back in the early days of Skylax, when we had no money and were just starting out, he signed Skylax 102 and delivered unforgettable remixes for Denise Motto – IMNXTC. Those versions remain pure genius, the kind of music only a true digger and tastemaker could create.

Keith had an exceptional ear and a fearless taste in music – qualities that are now so rare. His legacy shaped generations, and his energy will forever remain in our scene.

Sadly missed, never forgotten. 🕊️
All our love to Jonnie Wilkes, his family, and everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with him.
