A U.S. citizen says ICE detained his Indian wife despite their legal marriage, leaving him regretting his vote for Trump. The situation highlights how much broader the immigration crackdown has become than many voters expected.

Trump officials have repeatedly said enforcement targets dangerous criminals, but federal data shows many ICE arrests involve immigrants without U.S. criminal records. People with criminal convictions have represented a smaller share than many might expect, while deportations have struggled to keep pace with soaring arrests. Even U.S. citizens have reportedly been detained during immigration operations.

The crackdown is sweeping up families, longtime residents and people without criminal convictions, showing that aggressive immigration enforcement does not stop neatly at the category of dangerous criminals.

Gas prices got folks unlocking transportation methods that were never supposed to leave the warehouse. This meme has been floating around online for years, with versions of the “gas so high shawty driving a pallet jack” joke appearing on meme sites long before today.

And somehow it keeps getting funnier every time gas prices jump. Shawty said forget premium, regular, insurance, oil changes and car payments. She got 2 forks, 4 wheels and determination. At this point if gas gets any higher, somebody gonna pull up to the function on a Home Depot forklift with the hazards on. Extraordinary times really do call for extraordinary measures.

There was something different about the 2000s. Your whole music library lived on an iPod, a burned CD with somebody handwriting “our songs” actually meant something, and getting a BlackBerry message could change your entire night. The PSP felt like futuristic technology, bedrooms were covered in posters, and blurry digital camera pictures somehow captured more personality than perfect phone cameras ever could.

Even the little stuff hit different. McDonald’s hotcakes in the foam tray, cafeteria pizza with chocolate milk, sitting inside Pizza Hut under those warm lights, hanging at somebody’s house with nothing planned. No endless feeds documenting every second. You just lived it. Maybe we do not actually miss the technology. Maybe we miss when life felt slower, smaller, and somehow more personal.

Apple just got hit with a jaw dropping $5.72 BILLION jury verdict after a federal jury in San Diego found that technology inside certain iPhones and Apple Watches infringed patents owned by Taction Technology.

The fight centers on Apple’s Taptic Engine, the hardware responsible for those familiar taps and vibrations you feel while using your device. Taction sued Apple back in 2021, claiming its patented haptic technology was being used without permission. Apple denied the claims and argued its system works differently.

Here is the huge catch: Apple has NOT simply agreed to hand over $5.7 billion. This is a jury verdict, and Apple says it will appeal. The jury also found the infringement was not willful. So while the number is historic, this legal battle could be far from finished.

California’s Supreme Court unanimously ruled that Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco unlawfully seized roughly 650,000 ballots from the November 2025 special election and ordered them returned immediately.

Bianco seized the ballots while investigating alleged election irregularities, but the court ruled California law requires voted ballots to remain under election officials’ control, even during a criminal investigation. Bianco maintains the seizure was part of a legitimate investigation and says he may pursue federal options.

Getting paid biweekly really creates two completely different lifestyles. Week 1 you feel like a financial mastermind. Bills paid, fridge full, eating good, buying random stuff you suddenly decided was essential and checking your account like you finally cracked the wealth code.

Then Week 2 arrives and the economy becomes personal. Suddenly every meal is coming from the deepest corner of the pantry and going out costs too much. The funny part is biweekly workers typically receive 26 checks per year, meaning 2 months can actually have 3 paydays. The real cheat code is budgeting around your normal 2 check months and treating those extra checks as savings, debt payoff or emergency money. Housing, transportation and food already consume the biggest chunks of average household spending, so without a plan that Week 2 struggle can get VERY real.

BigXthaPlug really had the internet roasting his booking photo before people even finished reading what happened. The Dallas rapper, whose real name is Xavier Landum, was taken into custody in Arlington, Texas, just after midnight on February 26, 2025, after police stopped his vehicle for expired registration.

Police said an officer noticed the smell of greenery while approaching the vehicle and later found a green leafy material in the center console. BigX was booked over allegedly possessing less than 2 ounces of greenery. A passenger was also taken into custody after police discovered an active warrant and other alleged violations.

But here is the update people miss. Reports later confirmed BigX’s February 2025 case was dismissed. So while that extra wide booking photo became internet history, the situation itself did not end with a conviction.

Flock Safety CEO Garrett Langley is getting absolutely cooked online after his comments about balancing privacy and public safety collided with a very awkward discovery. Langley recently argued that Americans need to find a compromise between privacy and safety as his company faces growing criticism over its massive network of license plate recognition cameras.

Then internet detectives noticed a residence linked online to Langley appeared blurred on Google Street View. That sparked accusations of a privacy double standard, although reports have not confirmed who actually requested the blur or whether Langley currently owns the property.

The trolling quickly escalated, with users reportedly marking the property on Google Maps as a public toilet. Basically, the internet saw a privacy debate and turned it into digital neighborhood warfare.

Rockstar’s evolution from GTA III to GTA IV was absolutely insane. GTA III’s complete script was relatively slim, while GTA IV’s script reportedly stretched to around 1,000 pages. GTA IV also featured roughly 80,000 lines of dialogue, showing just how dramatically the storytelling, conversations and world building expanded between generations.

Now imagine GTA VI. Rockstar has spent years developing Vice City and the wider state of Leonida, with Jason and Lucia at the center of a huge cast of characters. If the jump from GTA III to GTA IV was already this ridiculous, the amount of writing behind GTA VI could be monstrous. The main storyline might only be the beginning.

Chicago’s drill scene is dealing with another reported loss just weeks after BloodHound Q50 passed away. Multiple online reports say Poohman, associated with DrillCity and BloodHound, lost his life Friday night, and posts mourning him quickly began spreading across Chicago music circles.

A viral account claims Poohman was leaving Q50’s funeral when he was spotted near 76th and Cottage Grove. According to that version, two men allegedly pulled up and confronted him, causing him to speed away in a Dodge Challenger before crashing near 74th and Cottage Grove. However, those specific details have NOT yet been confirmed by Chicago police or a major local news outlet. Until authorities release more information, the funeral connection, exact location and sequence of events should be treated as preliminary.
