In a field of 39 combinations, 11 riders made it through to the jump off in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ of Bordeaux. Willem Greve and Grandorado TN NOP — a 14 year old stallion owned by Team Nijhof Vof and Willem Greve Sportpaarden — first to ride back in front of a full house set the bar by performing to a clear round stopping the clock at 39.74. The third combination to come back to the Bordeaux International Arena was Switzerland’s Martin Fuchs riding Conner Jei. With the 14 year old bay gelding by Connor, owned by Adolfo Juri and bred by Gerhard Stammer, Fuchs risked it all keeping the public clinging onto their seats claiming the leaderboard 37.45 time. “We secured our spot in Basel when you go early you never know its enough, put the pressure on the competitors. But when you have Epaillard still to go you never know! This is my first time in Bordeaux and I’m thrilled and proud of my horse; he was fantastic.”
