If you are looking for a 90's Dungeon Synth vibes, this first album of Illuin is made for you. Compositions are both dreamy and transported to a medieval universe, sounds are all played with synths, as if in the nature around you, legends of Middle-Eath came back to life.

A cult album from the revival and 90's Dungeon Synth vibes. Compositions that are both heroic and have dreamlike atmospheres, with sounds played on synthesizers to wake up the world. Wintercry draws inspiration from fantasy books, nature and the old times, where music was always magical. Swords and Magic is the first full-length album inspired by the story of Duul-Asdaat, a necromancer who was once a priest and lost his faith and became obsessed with the Dark Dreams of the Four. Knights, I want to share a thought I've had for a while, so I think it's important to talk about it as independent artist and label who tries to live from music and trying to highlight many talents in the scene.

Listening to music is easy today: everything is on Spotify, Apple Music, or Deezer, etc. But behind this convenience lies a problem: these platforms do not support independent artists, they never do. A million plays on Spotify brings only a few hundred euros to a musician, and often not even enough to cover basic costs. Algorithms push the same mainstream artists again and again, while underground music remains invisible...

🔴 YouTube also plays an important role for all of us. Many independent labels and artists share their releases there, often with real work. By listening, sharing and commenting on these channels, this is important really, you help the music circulate within the community and give it visibility it would never have on mainstream platforms.

🔵 Bandcamp is built for independence. When you buy an album or even just stream it there, the money goes directly to the artists and labels. It is concrete, immediate and it helps finance future creations. That is the difference between simply consuming music and supporting the people who keep it alive.

Supporting the independent scene doesn't require much, it's listening on Bandcamp or YouTube, buying a record, or sharing a link is what allows underground music to survive. Without this support, much of it would remain in the shadows and can stop when there is no longer enough money to continue. With it, it can grow, inspire and bring people together! ⚔️✨

Last year I presented this release to you. After the previous release of the album 'Le Retour de la Peste' Avenir Funèbre forgets its name in the tomb that has been kept for the last ten years, to become a brand new project that takes over in the name of Pensées Noires, starts with the release of this EP 'Repos sur la Mort'.

An atmosphere that fades into the calm of melancholy and all the darkness of souls with lost spirits. A slowness in the rhythms like a heartbeat that approaches the end of life, when death attracts us to console us in its arms...
