We’re thrilled to announce The Apartments' new album, "That’s What the Music Is For", out October 17, 2025. Pre-orders are open now on limited white vinyl, black vinyl, CD, and digital.

It has been since "In and Out of the Light" (2020) that Peter Milton Walsh and The Apartments last unveiled new songs. Five years later, they return with "That’s What the Music Is For", a collection of eight new tracks that capture Peter's singular gift for melody and atmosphere.

The first glimpse is “A Handful of Tomorrow”, whose video, directed by Nick Langley, premieres today.

THE APARTMENTS - "No Song No Spell No Madrigal" + "fête foraine"

En 2015, nos amis de Microcultures avaient accompagné la sortie de "No Song No Spell No Madrigal" de The Apartments, qui signait le retour en studio de Peter Milton Walsh après 18 ans d'absence. Ils avaient ensuite proposé en 2017 une réédition du classique "fête foraine" (1996).

Les deux albums étaient épuisés depuis un moment, mais ils sont désormais accueillis chez Talitres. Vous pouvez vous procurer "No Song No Spell No Madrigal" en vinyle (quelques dizaines d'exemplaires seulement) et "fête foraine" en vinyl et CD sur bandcamp ou boutique Talitres, ainsi que les versions numériques des deux albums sur bandcamp :
