📌The recent events in province mark a dangerous turning point in ’s political and security landscape.

📌Clashes escalated between outlawed groups and Bedouin communities, leading to an unprecedented deterioration of the situation.

📌The tribes have historically taken honorable stances in support of the state, offering both sacrifices and solidarity in the face of challenges.

📌We thank the tribes for their heroic positions, but we urge full compliance with the ceasefire and adherence to state authority.

📌 With the state’s partial withdrawal from some areas, armed groups in began launching retaliatory attacks against Bedouins and their families.

The Presidency of the Republic Calls for Restraint and Pledges to Send Forces to Resolve the Conflict

The Arab Republic has been following with deep concern and profound regret the bloody events unfolding in southern , which have resulted from the expansion of armed groups operating outside the law. These groups have resorted to weapons to impose a new reality by force, putting the lives of civilians including , , and the elderly in direct danger.

The attack on peaceful families, the terrorizing of , and the violation of people’s dignity in their own homes are acts that are unequivocally condemned and rejected on all moral, legal, and humanitarian grounds. Such actions are unacceptable under any pretext or justification. Respecting and safeguarding civilians is a non-negotiable national duty, and any breach of these values is a blow to the very essence of society and a threat to national unity.

The Arab Republic’s position on these events is guided by a firm principle: the preservation of civil peace, not a logic of revenge. It does not respond to chaos with more chaos, but rather upholds the law through lawful means, and answers aggression with justice, not retribution.

Time and again, the Republic reaffirms that it is a state for all its citizens regardless of their affiliations or backgrounds, whether from the Druze community or the Bedouin tribes. It is not a state for any single sect or group. National responsibility demands that all citizens unite under one roof the homeland and under one reference the rule of law.

In light of these developments, the Republic calls on all parties to exercise restraint and prioritize reason. It affirms that it is making strenuous efforts to end the fighting and to curb the violations that threaten the security of citizens and the safety of society.

In this context, the relevant authorities are working to deploy a specialized force to break up the clashes and resolve the conflict on the ground, in parallel with political and security measures aimed at restoring stability and ensuring the swift return of calm to the governorate.

Finally, the Republic calls upon all its citizens particularly those known for their wisdom and sense of responsibility to unite in overcoming this ordeal, to reject calls for escalation
