The kids picked me up the 60500 Lego Van to go with my expanding collection of vans!

I took junior for a visit to Brick Festival Wrexham this morning. It was mainly stalls and shops this time, but there were some great builds around including a tank, Pokemon, Mario, Star Trek, dinosaurs, Lego Friends apartment diorama, victorian street scene and more.

Plenty of activities for kids:build pits, charity tombolas, gaming areas, lego puzzles, colouring, remote control vehicles and challenges.

We picked up a few minifigs to add to our collection. There's always something that we just have to buy!

The last stop on our unofficial Lego Tour of France was at the massive Carrefour supermarket just outside Le Shuttle terminal in Calais. Think of it as a cross between Costco and Big Asda.

We just stopped for snacks and supplies on our way home, but they had a massive selection of Lego, so it was worth popping in for! 😀🇫🇷

The next stop on my Lego tour of Paris was the Lego Store in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris, and of course we had to get our Lego Passports stamped.

The store was recently renovated and has a great photo op bench outside, surrounded by Disney lego builds of Mickey, Minnie, Buzz Lightyear, Elsa from Frozen and other popular Disney characters.

Inside there is a giant centrepiece Fantasia build of Mickey and the dancing mops, Marvel character builds of Iron Man, Shuri and Spiderman plus builds of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader from Star Wars.

Around the walls they even had Lego inspired posters from some of the themes inside Disneyland Paris itself like Caseys Hot dogs and Pirates of the Caribbean.

The staff, as usual in Lego stores, were friendly and helpful, and gave the kids a few spare Passports as they noticed theirs were nearly full.

Today in Paris, we popped into the official Lego store at Les Halles to get our passports stamped. Unfortunately I forgot them so had to pick up a new one.

They had some awesome giant builds of the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame on display.

Build review time!

75431 Lego Star Wars 327th Star Corps Clone Trooper Battle Pack

RRP £34.99 - 258 Pieces

Now this one is a bit on the pricey side. A £10 increase on the 75327 Clone Battle Pack which was a similar set. I did pick this one up for £24.99 from Smyths, though I'd imagine it'll come down further... and I'll pick a few more up to army build.

This one is a better set though, with 4 of the 327th Clones and 3 super Battle droids, plus spider droid and AT- RT walker side builds.

The walker is one of the better walker builds I've picked up and looks good in the bright yellow finish. It does have stickers, which I haven't added, but it doesn't look bad without them. Only issue with walkers is poseability. The legs are either bolt upright or it's falling over.

The spider droid is also a decent little build too, with plenty of movement.

The highlights though are the clones. I'd say they're my favourite clone minifigures, Captain Rex aside.

The detail and printing on the clones looks great, and the new, plastic pauldrons make them look more movie accurate. Much better than the cloth ones.

Can't beat getting a few extra super battle droids either. They do need a gun arm though.

Overall, not a bad set. Great clones at high prices.

Started on Lego Minifigures Series 29 with this guy: Robot T-Rex.

It's not the best series for me, but there are a few that I'll pick up, with this one being the priority. I always get the mascot type figs and the kids always want the dinosaur ones, so it was a no-brainer.

It's a great fig with fantastic torso print that makes it look like an Iron Man T-Rex armour. Loving the spine print that continues along the tail too. And the battery printed tube accessory is a great finishing touch.

It'll be the Boba Cup Fan or Chocolatier next methinks.
