The idea for this project is based on our love and interest for an international art community, as well as the impression, that young, self-taught artists and students still form a minority in the current print landscape. Synchron is an independent print magazine dedicated to display a broad spectrum of contemporary (niche) art, subculture and fiction, which is developed and exists at the same tim

e, yet often parallel to the main / commercial art market. It offers an opportunity to discover emerging, ambitious artists and authors beyond online platforms. For the pilot issue we intentionally did not choose a specific topic with the aim to find out, what our contributors are concerned about and deemed important in this times.

★ As we enter 2026, we are happy to invite you to our exhibition VERS UN VIRAGE at .hoipoi in Tokyo, celebrating the launch of a limited-edition zine under the same name, dedicated to female phantasies, including work by Abi Perkins , Alice Kister , Polina Ganz , Rosa Von Lieven , Melika Xerxes .xerxes , curated by Shima & Alice Kister.

Joining us for the launch are the performers Ako Suzuki with dance, Sayaka Botanic with live music & XINOVI with a DJ set to finish the evening .
VERS UN VIRAGE - Zine will be available for purchase during the event.

The exhibition will be on display until the 30.01.26 from 19:00 - 0:00
