Welcome to Gilles Steadicam & Drone. Our goal is to help you produce the most efficient and beautifu Op in Europe) for 8 months. What the heck is that?

Still photographer and cameraman for almost 10 years in Europe and freelance. I've been training in the US to the Tiffen Steadicam special training in October 2012 and I learned a lot! Then, I worked as an assistant for Olivier Merkxs (one of the best Stead. He taught me a lot of skills and especially how to be professional and responsible on any circumstance. STEADICAM hugh? For more accessibility I'll just show some pictures and video so you can understand what it is made for. In short the Steadicam is a piece of equipment originally made by Garret BROWN able to carry camera on your body to make great steady shots while moving. This tool is really awesome!!!!. It is like being a kid playing with it's amazing gadget from the future. Sometimes people say : « you look like Robocop » or « Is it some kind of armor? ». It makes me feel just great even if it is so fu... tiring lifting those 30-40kg for a whole day! I must tell you that I had hard time buying the rig but I did. For now the new challenge it to get enough work to be able to upgrade my equipment and live here in Cambodia. Along the way I will also share some of my trainings with Steadicam and Canon 5d MkII. I am really excited to begin a new work and complete one more part of my passions for shootings. I promise to keep you posted on upcoming videos and photos.
