A Take Away Show with Ganavya, out now 🤍

'Her name was echoing in the words of close friends who had worked with her - and her music over the last two years invaded my ears and the ones around. There was an aura around her subtle take on Indian devotional music on records, and her stage presence was supposed to be enchanting.
But I had never met Ganavya in person before Haldern Pop Festival - she showed up last minute for a short recital of 45 minutes. I was unsure of how to fit in her brief timing in town, and could only delicately slip myself into her show in the church. Not something I am keen of - but if you have to catch a lightning, you’d better go out into the storm. And that storm that day had a divine presence.' - Vincent Moon

A Take Away Show with Loney Dear & Cantus Domus, out now 🤍

‘With Emile, we were unsure of many things - including the fact that we even made a film together before. Well, we did, a Take Away Show in May 2007, but never met since then. And that uncertainty was in the air the entire time, as a little ghost breathing in our neck while entering the church of Haldern. Did we truly do, or was there something else happening?
The Cantus Domus choir was collaborating with him for the festival, and only three takes were needed to make the fragile become a bit more solid. After all, living with trouble is a great way to engage with the present.’ - Vincent Moon

A Take Away Show with Alabaster DePlume, out now 🤍

‘It was Bethlehem that we first had in common. Alabaster went for a residency at the fantastic Wonder Cabinet art space a few months before me. His presence though was still palpable, as the local Palestinian friends remembered his time with a special care.
Easy to explain - Gus ‘Alabaster’ is a rare human being, and when we met for the first time - on that same day we would record the film at the Haldern Pop festival - it didn’t take us long to recognize each other - his generosity is a true gift.
After his show, we got to his hotel by the Rhine river, and in the dark and with the help of Catalina dancing with lights, I asked him for another gift - his ‘Gifts of Olive’, that sublime and tragic song about the genocide. He delivered it, and obviously so much more. Merci mister DePlume, you true poet gentleman.’ - Vincent Moon

A Take Away Show with Patrick Watson, out now 🤍

'I first met Patrick in 2008. It was the 'golden years' of the Take Away Shows, we were filming every week with our favorite musicians in the most hilarious settings, and that one with Patrick and his Wooden Arms would stay as a milestone - an entire day crossing Paris, a film in 4 parts, ended with the first 'Soirée de Poche'. A massive opus which we all kept as a precious memory of Paris-as-it-was-before (the smartphones especially).
I didn’t expect to reconnect with him in a musical way - never do the same thing twice has been my motto - but in the summer of 2025, we both got invited to perform at the charming Haldern Pop festival in a village in western Germany, and festival director Stefan Reichmann reached out for us to make a short recording.
It didn’t last an entire day - barely an entire hour - and we only crossed the main street of Haldern, between the church and the festival office. But the magic was there again, without rehearsing it - the dances, the laughs, the improv with everyday life.
Here is this little piece of music in 4 songs, accompanied as usual by a fabulous bunch of musicians - hence the “ensemble” I added to the title.
Merci Patrick, and see you in a generation again.'

Après avoir filmé Aya Nakamura sous la majestueuse coupole des Galeries Lafayette à Paris pour le clip de ‘Fly’, sous le soleil de Grasse pour un concert acoustique au Domaine de la Rose de Lancôme et sur la scène de l’Accor Arena pour un show d’anthologie il y a exactement trois ans, nous la retrouvons au sommet : au Stade de France.

Do you remember the first time you heard ? We sure do remember the first time we got to film them! It was Brian’s birthday —the oldest of the D’Addario brothers— that day. He had just turned 20. Despite the jet lag, Michael and him delivered one of the wildest performances we’ve ever filmed for our Take Away Show series. Here they are shouting the chorus of ‘As Long As We’re Together’ at the top of their lungs from the streets of Belleville all the way to the nearest subway station. ‘Do we start the Blogothèque now?’ - Michael asked with a laugh before starting the song. Yes, Michael, that’s where the real Blogothèque begins, and almost 10 years later, the feeling hits just the same.
