Jesus warned his disciples not to be deceived by the spectacular! đŸ€Ż When people praised the Temple’s beauty, Jesus said a time was coming when “there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.”
He then gave signs, warning against false messiahs and telling them not to be terrified by wars, earthquakes, famines, and plagues. These things are inevitable, but they are not the end. The message is to stay vigilant and not be fooled by false claims or immediate panic.

On the cross, amidst sneers and mockery, Jesus offered the most immediate promise of the Kingdom. 🙏 One criminal reviled Him, but the other recognized his own guilt and Jesus’s innocence.
His humble plea was simple: “Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.”
Jesus’s reply offers all of us hope: “Amen, I say to you, today you will be with me in Paradise.” It’s a powerful reminder that even at the very end, humble faith and repentance are met with instant, boundless mercy.

The Sadducees tried to trap Jesus with a complex question about a woman who married seven brothers! đŸ€Ż Jesus’s answer is profound:
In the coming age and the Resurrection, people “neither marry nor are given in marriage.” They can no longer die and are like angels. 😇
He then gives the ultimate proof of the Resurrection, referencing Moses at the burning bush. God is called the “God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob”—He is not the God of the dead, but the God of the living, “for to him all are alive.”

When admiring the beauty of the Temple, Jesus dropped a startling prophecy: “The days will come when there will not be left a stone upon another stone that will not be thrown down.” đŸ€Ż
He warned the disciples that turmoil—wars, earthquakes, and famines—is not the immediate end, but the beginning of tribulation. The true test comes when they are seized and persecuted.
But the final promise is powerful: He will give us a wisdom no one can resist, and though we will be hated and betrayed, “not a hair on your head will be destroyed.” Our security lies in perseverance! đŸ’Ș

Prayer doesn’t always bring immediate results, but today’s Gospel encourages us to never give up! 🙏 Jesus tells the Parable of the Persistent Widow who keeps bothering a dishonest judge until he finally grants her justice just to be rid of her.
The lesson is clear: If a bad judge gives in to persistence, how much more will a loving and just God secure the rights of His chosen ones? He will see to it that justice is done speedily. Keep praying, keep asking, and keep believing!

Jesus didn’t come to start a bank! 💰 Today’s Gospel shows the immense zeal of Christ as He drives out the merchants and money-changers, declaring, “Stop making my Father’s house a marketplace.”
When challenged for a sign, He gave a cryptic answer: “Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.” The critics scoffed, thinking of stone, but He was talking about His body—His death and Resurrection.
This is a powerful reminder that our faith is rooted not in earthly structures, but in the resurrected Christ.

The choice is stark: God or money? 💰 Today’s Gospel is a radical teaching on stewardship!
Jesus challenges us to use our worldly possessions (« dishonest wealth ») to « make friends » so we are welcomed into eternal dwellings. The wealthy Pharisees sneered, but Jesus saw their hearts.
The core lesson: Trustworthiness in small matters (like money) proves your readiness for true, divine wealth. Remember, you cannot serve God and mammon. Where is your heart focused?

This is why Jesus ate with sinners! ❀ Today’s Gospel is a direct answer to the critics, with two beautiful parables: the Lost Sheep and the Lost Coin.
Jesus teaches that the shepherd leaves the ninety-nine for the one, and the woman lights the whole house for one coin. Why? Because there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine who have no need of repentance!
If you feel lost, remember how deeply the Shepherd is looking for you. Go home, rejoice! 🎉

The promise of dining in the Kingdom of God is great, but the invitation requires a choice! đŸœïž Today’s parable shows a host who sends his servant to call the invited guests, but they all offer poor excuses related to their possessions or personal life.
In anger, the host opens his doors to everyone else—the poor, the crippled, the blind, and the lame—declaring that none of the originally invited will taste his dinner.
It’s a stark warning: don’t let the distractions of this world blind you to the eternal banquet. The invitation is open, but time and opportunity are limited. Accept the call!

The standard for final judgment is simple: how did you treat the least of these? ⚖ Today’s powerful Gospel depicts the Son of Man separating the nations like a shepherd separating sheep from goats.
The blessed inherit the Kingdom because they saw and served Christ in the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick, and the imprisoned. The cursed depart because they did not.
Jesus’s message is unmistakable: « whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me. » Our entry to eternal life depends on active love and mercy.

Jesus challenged the religious leaders with a powerful question about compassion over ritual! đŸ€” Invited to dine at a Pharisee’s home on the Sabbath, Jesus saw a man suffering from dropsy and asked, « Is it lawful to cure on the sabbath or not? »
When they kept silent, He healed the man anyway, proving that mercy is above the law. He silenced them completely by asking: « Who among you, if your son or ox falls into a cistern, would not immediately pull him out on the sabbath day? » It’s a reminder that human need and compassion always come first. ❀

It’s not about how many people will be saved, but about striving to enter! đŸšȘ Jesus warns us to « enter through the narrow gate, » for many will try when the door is locked, only to be turned away with the chilling words, « I do not know where you are from. »
His lesson is clear: mere association (« We ate and drank in your company ») won’t save us; only genuine effort and conversion will. There will be a great reversal, where « some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last. » Don’t delay your effort to enter!
