«I Am Obio Oluebube, and yes, I’m short—but I’m also mighty.

Growing up in Okija, Anambra State, I was often mócked for my height. At just 4'1" (124 cm), I was the smallest in the room, and it used to bother me. I felt like I didn't fit in, like I was invisible. But then, something changed. I realized that my stature didn't define me; my talent, my spirit, and my resilience did.

I ventured into Nollywood in 2019, thanks to the encouragement of my adoptive mother, Uche Nancy. My breakout came with the viral skit "Aunty Put Me Down," and from there, opportunities followed. I've had the privilege of working alongside industry giants like Mercy Johnson and Chiwetalu Agu, and I've starred in films such as Heart of a Tiger, Small Landlady, and Ghetto Gospel.

“When I was younger, people used to téase me a lot because I was so small and thîn. It got to a point where I doubted if anyone would ever find me attráctive.

Before I met my husband, the móckery felt endless, and I honestly thought I might never meet a good man. Then he came into my life, expressed his feelings, and eventually proposed. I got married while I was still naturally slim, before any changes in my body.

For me, confidence is everything. I believe that doing a BBL or altering your body just to fit someone’s idea of beauty shows a lack of self-love. Even though I faced teasing, I chose to embrace myself. I always tell my friend, who struggles with being very small like I once was, to stay true to herself — the right person will love her just as she is.”

I spent over N300 million on my Guinness World Record for the biggest pot of Jollof with my team 😳😳

The planning took 9 Months with an additional 2 months to prepare the Pot.

We used 250 Bags Of rice costing over N20 million.
Biggest Gratitude for the support of friends who travelled from America and all over.
We had Over 20,000 Nigerians attended the event, where she received her second Guinness World Record Plaque.

Happy 45th birthday to Nollywood Actor Chigozie Atuanya 🎉🎂👏

Atuanya made his screen debut in a 1998 film titled King Jaja of Opobo and has since gone on to produce and star in several films.

He was once a model for Delta Soap, appearing in one of their television commercials.

In 2014, Atuanya received the Best Indigenous Film award at the Golden Icons Academy Movie Awards (GIAMA) held in Houston on October 25.

My big breakthrough came in 1993 when I played Mrs. Agnes Johnson in the TV soap opera Fortunes. That role opened doors for me and Nollywood embraced me fully.

I later featured in classics like Glamour Girls, Diamond Ring, and True Conféssion. I acted wïcked characters so convincingly that many people actually thought I was like that in real life. Some even feâred me off-screen, but I always smiled because I knew it was only acting.
