Cette publication n'a pas de réel intérêt sauf à marquer le jour où pour la toute première fois en 15+ années d'expéditions de disques tout autour du globe, je viens de déposer au bureau de poste une enveloppe en partance pour La Réunion. Pas mécontent en sus que les 2 disques dans le pli soient signés de trois de mes musiciens guitaristes français favoris. Voilà, c'est tout.

Three years ago, on this very (sad) day, trumpeter Dennis González (August 15, 1954 - March 15, 2022) untimely passed away, leaving his family, friends and me (his 'little brother' from France) like we were orphans from his kindness, free spirit and great talent.
Today, my thoughts are with his wonderful wife Carol and no less wonderful sons Stefan and Aaron, with whom he recorded a number of albums as the "Yells At Eels" trio (often 'augmented' with guest musician friends), five of which we worked on together.
Rest In Power, my dearest 'big brother' from Texas! I'm proud to have been your friend and that we could offer all this wonderful music of yours to the world, together, hand in hand.
