Questlove’s vinyl collection is one of the largest and most legendary in the music world—currently estimated at over 200,000 records.
Questlove’s first records came from his parents’ collection. His father, Lee Andrews, was a doo-wop singer, and his mother was also a musician. Their band, Congress Alley, even released a self-titled album in 1974—both parents appear on the cover
He’s also acquired entire libraries from defunct radio stations, especially as they’ve gone digital and discarded physical media
