It's been a while I haven't posted on this account or just even taken a shot of a magnificent landscape.
But this view resonated in me this morning, I've done absolutely no color retouch but the duality of that warm orange vs. cold blue was pretty awesome to witness.

Good things always happen when you wake up early enough, may it be meeting awesome strangers around the world or just walking your dog in a more straight forward life and witnessing the beauty of nature.

I hope all of you guys are doing as well as I do, until next time ☺️

Two years ago, we reached 5800m of altitude after 21 rough days of hiking to reach higher than Everest Base Camp, us alone with our 20kg backpacks like old explorers in full autonomy.
It was for sure on my top 3 experiences of the journey I made and it always put a smile on my face when I think of it.
Biggest lesson learnt from this : some things in life are hard but they're very worth it in the end.
Thank to .widebob for supporting me on these 2 months preparation for it and the journey on the rooftop of the Earth.

🌞I've always loved to get up to see the sunrise !
Seeing all these colorful patterns and the sun conquering the shadows bit by bit is such a perfect way to start the day.
Remind yourself that you can be always be that sun, conquering your shadows bit by bit and illuminating the life of the people around you.

🇬🇧 If you know me only via social media, you probably don't know those faces.
👨‍👨‍👧‍👧These are the people that are family.
They are the reason I'm coming back in Europe a few months because as much fun and teachings you get to travel alone for 21 months, you also have to consider that the people you miss are also missing you.
I said in the previous post (that was a few weeks ago, it took me some time to surprise everyone) that I will share some important lessons I learnt on the road. So here it is :
1⃣ First lesson I will share that I learnt during traveling alone for almost 2 years : Be independent but don't be selfish. Show the ones you care about that you love them enough even if society tells you you have to be strong and alpha and hide your emotions.
__

🇬🇧 Temple of Enlightenment - Thailand.
I'm out of my meditation, and I'm still thinking about this experience.
It was hard, bizarre, but worth it in the end. Breaking the traveling routine, I had time to reflect upon these past 20 months I spent on the roads with my thumbs up, and I'm even more confident that the future is still going to be as awesome as the past and the present.
I'll share some lessons/ideas in the next few weeks, I'm still taking time to reflect all my thoughts so it might take some time.
I hope that you guys didn't miss me ! 😉

🇹🇭 I missed a few spots when I visited Bangkok, and I'm glad I'm coming back to show you those awesome temples !
❓A few people asked me how I was doing traveling with a drone with the regulations in countries.
I never had any problem border crossing or flying with a drone (before the world tour without flights), except once in France before traveling when they thought it was a bomb in my backpack but that's old and it wasn't so common back then. 🚁 The thing is : do not fly around people. Always wait, be patient to have that awesome shot you want and keep your drone in line of sight. It is dangerous and can hurt people if there is any battery or communication problem. You can notice on my videos or photos that there is no crowd in those shots for everyone's safety. Also, you get less risk of someone reporting you in case it is illegal.
🕐 Anyway, if you want cool pictures and photos my advice is to wake up as soon as the sun is rising and be the only one (or so) on spot.
🚫 Always be responsible and do not fly over crowded areas if you do not want to end up paying a big fee or go to jail. 👍

🇬🇧 Here I go after 1 month in the same city, doing nothing but experiencing joy and kindness with and her friends.
The amazing part of this story is that I don't even like the city of Phnom Penh that much but when you meet beautiful souls it's are for me not to stay and make real connections vs. just knowing people or a few days.
Every country I go, I screw my travel plans because of people like them.
I hope they read these lines and remember all these good moments, before I set off to meditate for 21 days straight, I want to thank all these amazing people I met on the road. I'd like to tag you all but it's gonna be too long, thanks everyone that made this travel possible and thanks to everyone asking me to come to their country or messaging me positives vibes, thanks every single soul that smile back at me or made me smile in the hard moments.
Now I have a few more days before the meditation but I'm already starting to reflect on these past 2 years (-ish) and I'm probably going to write way more of my thoughts before and after this intensive retreat but here are the only two words in my mind today.

🇫🇷 For french people, I'm sorry but I'm too lazy writing this in French so please click on "traduire" for this time 😊 . Excuse me for this 🙏

🇬🇧 Something is beautiful because we choose (unconsciously) to see it as beautiful.
But beauty is in fact completely subejctive to each person seing the same scene.
It is a choice of how you label it, and it's not inherent to the object you're having in front of you but it is your choice.
When you start seeing all things as beautiful is when you realize that everything is only a reflection of the heart.
Choose to look at everything beautifully and your life will be beautiful. The opposite is also true.
To quote my favorite book : "here's my secret, a very simple secret : it is only with the heart that one can see righlty ; what is essential is invisible to the eye".
