Iv recently had people ask me “what’s the goal ” with where I’m taking my career. THIS WAS THE GOAL. To document expedition trips on a global scale with yachting was why I started a YT channel and then a production company, it was absolutely NOT for the money. To get an “in” to a world I didn’t have access to growing up. I come from the tiniest sleepiest town, creating these visuals through the Arctic was one of my dreams. I heard this audio the other day and it immediately made me think back to the start of this reel. I used to HATE filming myself in front of people. Felt so cringe, all the time. Well, I did it anyway and it got me out here filming what will be the most documented expedition ever released within yachting by the time it’s all out. To those that made it possible 🫶🏼 I can’t thank you enough for your part in achieving this dream.
We always speak out our dreams but I very rarely see people acknowledging it when they achieve one. This was one for me ❤️ Time to set a few new goals.
Hope you all are going after the things you’d like to achieve one day. That’s the only reason I share these little stories. Go bloody get it.

I told someone recently that I felt lucky to be where I am, and someone corrected me and shouted “fortunate”. “Luck is random. Fortune favors those who repeatedly put themselves where opportunity can find them”.

Everyone here, every crew member, the guests, myself have earned their place here by doing what they do and I want to encourage those reading to keep at the thing you are doing.

To get a job on a yacht like this, you may need to start on the busted up catamaran like I did or do 10 seasons in the med. To take media in Greenland, you may need to buy that first GoPro and do voice over videos and make 88 videos on YouTube before the first one goes over 1000 views.

Then the consistency gets involved, then you start standing out and getting good. Then you end up in places you’ve only dreamed of.

Drop the X12 tender by , point towards the ice and just go! Out here there is nowhere to be except for where we choose to be. Slowly cruising through the icebergs listening to the ice crack, and sound of the wind. What an experience.

We are anchored in an uncharted feud rafted together with two super arts in amongst one of the most beautiful valleys I’ve ever seen with a resident DJ, cold beers and a lit fire. On an island. wtf

Adrift with engines off in a bay full of humpback whales. These 2 beautiful creatures came right up to us with blows so close we could smell the breath of the whales 🐳. What a privilege and a dream come true to be out here experiencing what many people only dream of. So grateful for my career and the good people in my life to bring me here. Big thanks to our guide for bringing us straight to where we could experience this.

BTS VS THE SHOT: It was absolutely pouring with rain and so to make this a usable shot, we needed to make it quite intense. This was cutting it maybe a liiiiiitle to close for comfort. But we achieved the goal of making it intense. 👀

Rafting up two yachts in Greenland was not something I ever conceptualised and dreamed of shooting. Yet here we are, doing it in every anchorage and bay through this beautiful cruising ground.

After you the main vessel anchors first, all fenders out on starboard side and then captain slowly approaches. A perfect fit allows the starboard aft passerelle to perfectly connect the two boats together. Genius 🔥🔥

I’m not sure iv ever filmed this much in my life. Rainy? Drone launched, photos taken, push, pull, orbit, static frames. Shot vertical, shot landscape, photo and video.
Ice bergs, same. Landscapes, same. Sunrise, sunset. All of it. Non stop. As a result iv definitely captured some of the most beautiful imagery of my career and I can’t wait to share it properly.
