Le premier et merveilleux album des légendaires Dazzling Killmen, originalement sorti sur le label français Intellectual Convulsion enfin réédité - par nul autre que SKiN GRAFT Records !

Hi Everybody -

This is Mark writing.
The return of "Dig Out The Switch" is a wish come true.

DAZZLING KILLMEN and SKiN GRAFT were born in the same place, within the hardcore punk scene of St. Louis and the surrounding suburbs. We grew up together. They are the band that prompted SKiN GRAFT's leap from a self-published comic zine to a record label (with the arrival of the "Killing Fever" 7 Single and Comic Book Set at the tail end of 1991).

The following year DAZZLING KILLMEN released their debut LP, the Steve Albini and Jeff Tweedy produced "Dig Out The Switch", on a start-up French label called Intellectual Convulsion. SKiN GRAFT picked things up again after that with the "Medicine Me" 7" and Comic, the live cassette-album "Lounge Ax" and ultimately the band's 1994 follow up LP "Face Of Collapse".

"Dig Out The Switch" disappeared shortly after it was released, and was kept alive by tape and CD-R traders, and then by file-sharing and hand-ripped uploads to You Tube. It has never been officially available for download or streaming - and the LP and CD have been out of print since that initial pressing over 30 years ago.

I'm so happy to see it again.

Shearling, groupe phénoménal qui ouvre une voie pas encore nommée entre noise, post-hardcore et performance, partira pour sa première tournée européenne cette fin d'été, avec les très bons Allarme !

Ils seront à Marseille le dimanche 14 septembre au Leda Atomica Musique :
notez ce jour-là, et ne l'oubliez pas !

Parfois (mais rarement), un disque est une bombe, qui peut vous exploser à la figure, changer le monde, vous montrer des voies inconnues.

Le premier album de Shearling (avec des ex-Sprain dans leurs rangs), Mo********er, I am Both: "Amen" and "Hallelujah"..., est de ceux-là.

Le son de votre été, n'en doutons pas.
