🇬🇧 Already a new month. What are the highlight in April for you?
For us, the beggining of warm weather and longer days in France (sunset at 9pm now). Sunny days really do something for our souls. We still feel a little chill even though we saw a lot of people going out with tee shirt and short... not yet for us. 🤔
It was the month of cherry blossom 🌸
A full month of running twice a week 🏃‍♂️ 🏃🏻‍♀️ (we ran 64 km total which is almost 3 times better than March 💪) but Dan did hurt his left knee a little so the goal is to take it slowly in May.
It was Dan's birthday also, he is 35 now 🤭. We could celebrate with his family, barbecue at Mama Dan house ❤.

🇫🇷 Déjà un nouveau mois. Quels sont les moments forts d'avril pour vous ?
Pour nous, l'arrivée des beaux jours et les journées plus longues en France (coucher du soleil à 21 h maintenant). Les journées ensoleillées nous font vraiment du bien. On a encore un peu froid même si on a vu beaucoup de gens sortir en t-shirt et short… pas encore pour nous. 🤔
C'était le mois des cerisiers 🌸
Un mois complet à courir deux fois par semaine 🏃‍♂️ 🏃🏻‍♀️ (on a couru 64 km au total, soit presque trois fois mieux qu'en mars 💪) mais Dan s'est un peu blessé au genou gauche, donc l'objectif est d'y aller doucement en mai.
C'était aussi l'anniversaire de Dan, il a 35 ans maintenant 🤭. On a pu fêter ça avec sa famille, autour d'un barbecue chez Mama Dan ❤.

We were looking for a easy day trip from Paris without a car. Rouen it's less than 2 hours from Paris and we booked the travel easily with Flixbus for a day trip.
It's safe to say that it was a amazing surprise cause we did not expect anything special. We were wrong.
There are many things to see for more than a day. We did the famous this which mean:
- walking up to see Rouen viewpoint (the one that Claude Monet get its inspiration for a famous painting)
- visit a museum (to see his painting obviously)
- eat local food (candy stick, apple pie... )
- get lost in the beautiful streets with colorful architectures
