Game magazines were calling Ridge Racer Type 4 the "Gran Turismo Killer" in this magazine ad for the 1999 PlayStation game. Not only did Ridge Racer 4 have enhanced Gouraud shading graphics, the original Ridge Racer was included with the same enhanced graphics on a bonus disc.

Keep those bugs away! Argonaut Software's "Buck Bumble" for the N64 was designed utilizing the rumble feature. The 1998 UK release even had a rumble pack bundled with the game. Buck Bumble was designed by Carl Graham, who had previously worked on Star Fox and Stunt Race FX.

Known in Japan as Choro Q 64, and based on the Takara line of toy cars of the same name, THQ released it as Penny Racers in 1999 on the N64 (its name for the toy car line in English-speaking regions). The planner for this game, Maki D. Iguchi, would go on to join IREM where he planned such games as Disaster Report and Raw Danger!

KONAMI's answer to Super Mario Kart, KONAMI Krazy Racers on the Game Boy Advance was released in 2001. Its director Toyokazu Nonaka would go on to join Nintendo a few years after the game was released. The game itself would be re-released in 2015 on the Wii Virtual Console.

Known as the "Final Fantasy Fighter", Ehrgeiz was developed by DreamFactory and released to arcades and the PlayStation. Seiichi Ishii (Virtua Fighter, Tekken) was its designer. Three of the six featured Final Fantasy VII characters had to be unlocked in the PSX version.

This NAMCO Technical Center located in Yokohama was once in charge of maintaining arcade games from the company. Some of the NAMCO workers here had to handcraft rare replacement parts for certain machines. Around 2009/2010 it relocated to a different location in Yokohama.

This SEGA arcade game factory in Chiba, Japan opened in the summer of 1987, it produces arcade games that are exported worldwide. Among the arcade games produced here were Hang-On and Daytona USA. It still operates today as SEGA subsidiary SEGA Logistics Service.
